((Well, I play in Hatian for a while but I forgot to introduce myself... and please excuse me for the faults, I am not English native =/ ))

Identity Card:

Name: Sebastian ( Sebastien in french )
Job: Teacher at Callum Mondegreen Elementary School.
Language: English with french accent
Situation: Single
Age: 23
Nationality: French

Sebastian was born in France, in the city of Paris. He grew up in a rich environment, and had a rather tranquil Children-life... until his 14 years. His life took a different road, during the recreation, when he killed one of his friends during a game called "the ball prisoner." The goal of the game was to play soccer, and who had the first ball between the legs were hit by other players. His friend was on the ground, when he was beaten. He dead 3 hours later. Sebastian was arrested by the police; The judge considered he was a child, he had just sentenced to 2 years in prison.

2 years later, his parents were still anger after his behaviour. They decided to send him to the religious school for learns the religion and the discipline.
After 3 years of schooling in private school, he became a priest at 19 years. He worked in a church in a little city, near Paris, in a sensitive district. He organize weddings, mass and other religious ceremonies. it's there comes the turning point in his life. One morning when he woke up, he saw on a bench of the church a child. He approached him to talk, there was no answer. He turned the child back, horror, he was stabbed with a crucifix. He touched the child to return him, his fingerprints were on his body; Needless to say that the police would immediately arrested Sebastian, his past doesn't favoured him. His first reaction was to go to talk with the religious council. It decided to send in another city who don't have any priest. The chief of the board analysed his book, before whispering "Hatian". I accept the job, I had no choice, I knew nothing about Hatian, or even where it was this city.

The small chartered aircraft who rent the religious order landed to Hatian. I left the airport, and I watched on the street. Nobody, just a tattoo shop in front of me, the sea on the other side. I hadn't money, or even a place to sleep. My first thought was terrible "What I doing here!". I see on the beach a strange man, I asked him to tell me the road to the chapel. He accompanies me before he whispers to me "you don't know where you put the feet". The chapel was dilapidated, nothing to do with the European majestic chapels.
He began his role as priest, trying to advise people and to give them a little love god. But it served no, he prayed every Wednesday at the graves of the dead of week, the number growing every week.
One day, tired of being attacked by the anti-Christ, he tried to end his life. He stole a bottle vodka in TT, then pour over the belly to put the fire. He was saved by the barmaid. At the hospital, a nurse brought him the newspaper, and in the category of jobs, he found an offer for teaching elementary school that had just opened. He sent his application to the headmaster of the school.

A few days later, the phone rings. It was the headmaster who wanted to see me for an interview. I smile, I can finally do a job that I enjoy.
The interview was hiring past, the answer was positive. Once out of school, my first reaction was to shout, I didn't know why, I was just happy.
On the way back, I went to a building under construction. I appeal to a shipyard employee for what would be built here, he replied simply "An university. Take a helmet or loosen the yard!".
In my head, it was clear, in addition to teaching in primary school, I have a dream to teach at the university, why not French... I was born and I lived there all my youth.
I arrived without money, but now I live all the way! So, I think to understand the expression "The American dreaming". A new life begin here, in Hatian...
