They say " Hell has no furry than a woman scorn. " Looking back now, it all seems so very true. Standing over the body of a known local gang member, Sarrah bends down and places the loaded 9mm into his hands. Her badge gleaming in the streetlight. Peeling back her leather gloves she again looks at the corpse and feels a sense of calm come over her. This would be the first of those that would pay for her pain and suffering growing up in the streets.

It all began in a run down, drug infested neighborhood just on the outskirts of Hathian. Sarrah was born to a crack addicted, prostitute mother, and a father who was a life long criminal and convict. Her young childhood would be plagued by violence, abuse, rape, and death. She was baptized into the madness at an early age when at the age of only 3 years old, she witnessed her first murder. It was a rainy night, and Sarrah had been left alone in her bed to sleep as usual. Her mother was always bringing customers home to have sex and what not. The sounds of men coming and going were a constant lullaby as she cried herself to sleep. It was just after midnight when her mother brought home another customer to please. It started off the same.... " What ya looking for? "......" How much? ".......but then there was a loud crash from the next bedroom and the sound of a man yelling at her mother pierced the night. It was her father, home on parole from the state prison. Her father had returned home to find her mother getting pounded by another man. Sarrah climbed from her bed and opened her bedroom door just a crack so that she could see the commotion going on in the next room. What she would see would haunt her for years......

In the flickering light from the next room she could see her mother, wrapped in a bed sheet, her mascara running down her face and tears streaming from her eyes. She could also see her father, standing in the middle of the room with a loaded shotgun ready in his hands. then there was another man, middle aged, cowering in the corner. A trickle of blood running down his face from gash her father had inflicted with the butt of his shotgun. Sarrah watched in silence as her father yelled and screamed. The whole time growing more and more insane with anger as he spoke. " You like putting your dick in my wife eh? ".........." You like to fuck huh? "........" Today is your lucky day then....now get up!" her father yelled at the man on the floor. Grabbing the man by his hair, her father stood him up and backed him into the corner. " Now I want you to fuck my shotgun just like you fuck my wife! " he exclaimed to the man. The man grew pale, and Sarrah could see beads of sweat drip from his forehead. She watched as the man placed his dick into the barrel of the loaded gun. Her father's eyes grew almost red with hate as he yelled " Let's see how good you fuck after this! " Her eyes wide, and tears streaming down her face, she watched as her father cocked the 12 gauge and pulled the trigger, sending the mans genitals through the wall behind him. In fear she ran to her bed, pulling the torn blanket over her head, trying to block out the image and sounds echoing through her head. She curled up into a ball as the rest of the night she listened to her father repeatedly beat her mother until she was within an inch of her life.

It was only a few days later that the men in uniforms came to arrest her father. Sarrah never saw him again. He was convicted and sentenced to death by lethal injection and died about 6 months later. Sarrah was still no better off as now her mother turned heavily to drugs and sex for money. It was around the age of 13 that her mother, hard up for cash, started using Sarrah as a way to get extra money. She would let her gentlemen callers into Sarrah's room, and then close the door behind them. One after another they had their way with the helpless little girl. Her teachers seeing that she was bruised and beaten would often ask her about the marks on her body. Sarrah would just look at the ground and reply " I fell down. " Sarrah knew that if she had told them the truth that her mother would certainly beat her even worse.

Years went by and Sarrah grew up and was now into high school. Her mother was now a ward of the state mental hospital after she went insane from a major drug overdose. Sarrah had moved into Hathian ad was now living with her Aunt Kate and Uncle Tom. Hathian turned out to be the same for Sarrah. Everyday, she would fight a life or death struggle just to survive. The walks home from school were long terrifying. Everyday she would try her best to scurry past the gang members, who would also have their way with the teen if they caught her. She had made friends with a girl named Jackie. Jackie grew up in Hathian and had similar stories of violence, so the two of them were like sisters. Everyday they would walk each other home and look after one another. A year passed and Sarrah's would find sorrow again as her Aunt and Uncle would die in a drunk driving accident that winter. With no one left she moved in with her friend Jackie and her family after the state granted them custody of he lost child so surrounded by death

A few more years would come and go with out much suffering for Sarrah and she became to love the family that had adopted her. Jackie's parents were hardworking people, who owned a small store in town, but they had little to show for the hours they put in. However, what they lacked financially, they made up for with their closeness and love as a family. Sarrah's 18th birthday came just a few days before Jackie and herself were to graduate. They all got together and had planned on going out for dinner that night to celebrate the girls achievement. Sarrah and Jackie headed out to the car, Jackie's parents fallowing behind them as they walked and laughed to one another. Little did they know, their laughter would be cut short...

From the time Sarrah had moved into Jackie's house, she had heard her mother and father talking about the thugs that would come into their store and offer them " protection " at a price. The problem was that there were so many thugs trying to extort money from them, that they could not afford to keep their store open much longer. Sarrah heard them the night before say that they decided to skip a payment to one of the more notorious gangs, in hope that they could make the payment the next week when they would have extra left over. This however, did not sit well with the gang leaders and a hit was put out on the family and their store.

As Sarrah opened her car door and sat down into the back seat of the vehicle, she was startled by the sound of a car screeching at it turned the corner behind them at high speed. She would only catch a glimpse of the men in the car. They all wore masks and carried pistols and Uzi's. Their car speed past, and a barrage of bullets pierced the windows and sides of the car. Shards of glass flew through the air and Sarrah crawled onto the floor of the car and covered her head until the noise subsided. Raising her head, she could see the windows of the car were filled with holes and splintered glass. Crawling out of the car she stopped in her tracks. Looking up she would find the bodies of Jackie, her mother, and father. The three of them cut down by the onslaught of bullets thrown at them. Sarrah's eyes filled with tears and she screamed into the night sky. Holding her friend Jackie's hand she continued screaming until finally the police arrived. She would watch from the back of the police cruiser as the family she had come to love were loaded into body bags and then into coroner vehicles.

The cruiser door opened and a uniformed police officer stood in it looking down at Sarrah. He looked her up and down, and with a sarcastic tone in his voice said " Tough break kid. " Crying Sarrah responded back " What do you plan to do about those responsible? " The officer replied to her " Ya know kid, there are times when it is best to just look the other way. " " Look away! " Sarrah replied angrily " My best friend and her family just died and all you can say is LOOK AWAY ! " The officer then told the girl " Ya, that's right, look away. Unless you think you can do something about it. " Sarrah could feel the hate inside of her build. She shoved her way passed the officer and ran of into the night. Crying and alone, she returned to the house where her friend and family lived.

Sarrah sat sobbing, holding pictures of her and Jackie from the years gone by. She recalled the moments of great friendship that they had shared. With each picture she looked at, she became increasingly angry. " Her wole life had been like a horror movie with her as the leading role. Everyone she knew was dead or locked away. She started to recall the beatings her father gave her. She also recalled the night where she would watch him end the life of the man caught having sex with her mother. Sarrah's mind wandered back to her mother allowing her to be raped by strange men night after night. She then thought to her self " now this happened! " Her head slumped int6o her hands and she continued to cry. She could still hear the voice of the police officer. It replayed in her head over and over like a broken record. " Unless you think you can do something about it ".............

Sarrah's emotions and thought were all running together now. A million different things streamed though her head and the room started to spin and become dim. Sarrah's hands were now fists of hair and she struggled to keep her sanity. With a swift motion, she jumped up from the sofa, taking the picture in hand, and smashing it against the wall with a bloody scream!Sarrah's eyes opened, and a dark, sinister look covered her face. Breathing heavily, she said to herself " Do something, yes, I'll do something about it. "

Earlier that month, Jackie's cousin had visited them. His name was Victor, and he was fresh out of the police academy. Victor had been looking for employment with the local police departments, but had been reluctant to apply to Hathian's police department as there had been stories of corruption and extortion. She recalled Victor telling of stories where the local police would turn a blind eye as a fellow officer would beat information out of a suspect. another story told of officers taking bribes , or even going as far as doing away with criminals before they even saw a judge or jury. Sarrah's eyes now gleamed as her sadness faded and was replaces with an evil look of revenge. " This is how I will get them back....this is how I will get them all back " she said to herself out loud. She thought to herself just how she would seek revenge. " I'll go to the academy, join the force, and become the hand that would strike fear into the scum of this city........It will be there.......that I get........even......"

Sarrah once again looked down and the gang member she had just shot. In an evil tone she whispered " That is for Jackie, all the others, and ME " She then slowly turns around, placed her sunglasses back onto her face, and with a sense of calmness, she climbs back into her police cruiser and drives off.......
