Boris was born in the cold Steppes of Siberia in 1967, his father a miner and his mother a dairy farmer\'s hand. He was the youngest of 5 children and grew up in poverty. Watching his country suffer economically during the Cold War, his father died in the Soviet war in Afghanistan in 1982, leaving him to take care of his mother, three sisters and brother. He started out running errands for the soldiers in Moscow and got a reputation for his steel nerves and determination within the secrecy of the Kremlin. Soon he was an operative of the Socialist party and his big break was the attempted assassination of Lyudmila Alexeyeva, human rights activist who pushed the Glastnost movement. Fleeing the country after his attempt was foiled, he soon became an arms dealer for international terrorists and established his own organization, The Red Hammer.
At 45 years old, Boris finds himself running from NATO, Scotland Yard, and the CIA after being ambushed during a meeting with several prominent terrorists. Stumbling into the United States and seeking refuge in Hathian, Boris hopes to establish a terrorist organization once again.
