[2009/08/17 2:30] Max Mactavish hops onto the couch, causing it to creak come, laying back and eying the xbox controller resting next to him. Reaching over, he glances around before grabbing ahold of it and turning it on, activating the Xbox aswell. Seeing that Halo 3 was already in it, he digs into his pocket and slides the memory card inside to get his account on. Waiting for it to load, he glances back and nods to Ethan, picking up the other controller and tossing it to him "Hey, care to get yer ass kicked?"
[2009/08/17 2:32] Ethaniel Morrisey yawns loudly, raising his hands hight above his head and stretching as he walks to the station. Before turning and climbing the steps up to enter the PD and reluctantly heading inside,only to stop as he notices Max on the couch, busy with the Xbox. Finally smiling and saying in reply as he catches the controller Max throws to him and sits down beside him. "Oh i think you will find it will be you who will be getting your assed kicked."
[2009/08/17 2:37] Max Mactavish grins as he goes into multiplayer and selects the Last Resort map, wearing his badass armor and waiting for Ethan to be ready, starting it when he is. As soon as the game starts he moves over and grabs the sniper rifle, moving along the wall and crouching by the opening "Dont cheat now" he mutters to Ethan.
[2009/08/17 2:42] Ethaniel Morrisey grumbles as he fumbles with the controls, his large, fat, fingers punching the buttons and directional pad rather clumsily as he struggles to understand just what to do. Video games werent like this when he was a kid and he wasnt really used to anything more fancy than space invaders. Spinning his character around wildy as he races around the map breifly, before settling down and saying in reply to Max, rather sarcastically, despite already becoming frustrated with the game. "Oh so this is why you cant shoot for shit in real life, too much time spent wasted practicing on the couch hey?"
[2009/08/17 2:45] Max Mactavish grins as he takes aim at Ethans head from his little hidey hole in the cliffs, following him as he looks to the side for a moment "I shoot fine" pulling the trigger on the controller and sniping Ethan in the head, moving as Ethan respawns "And its a comfy fuckin couch"
[2009/08/17 2:48] Ethaniel Morrisey shouts loudly "Goddammit!" As his character respawns, again wandering aimlessly around the map, bumping into things and swing left to right wildly, as he struggles to take control. Before turning to look at Max as he adds, rather amused. "Well you know that is where Mahoney used to sit and wank while he watched all that porn of his. You might want to be just check the stains are all gone."
[2009/08/17 2:52] Max Mactavish smirks although he does jump some when Ethan shouts, he knew the effect Halo had on people during multiplayer. He slowly nods as he sees Ethan moving across the map, coming up behind him and starting to pepper him with assault rifle spray "Yeah there was one where your sitting I believe" jumping up and down for no reason as he keeps shooting at Ethans guy.
[2009/08/17 2:57] Ethaniel Morrisey begins to get a hang off the controls and struggles to aim as he send a hail of bullets towards Max's character, although misses as it bounces up and down like some rabbit. Bfeore glancing quickly down at the seat beneath him, before dismissing it as he looks back up and says. "Dammit, why wont you just die! How the hell you aim this thing anyway? Space invaders was never this damn hard!"
[2009/08/17 3:04] Max Mactavish 's shields fluctuate some as a few bullets still hits him, tossing a frag grenade at Ethan as he cant help but laugh, pausing to look back at Lissa "Hey hun, you want in on this?" grinning playfully at her before quickly looking back to the screen, yelling out at Ethan "Damnit stop running you puss!" pulling down the trigger again as he keeps chasing him and firing a stream of ammo towards him.
[2009/08/17 3:08] Lissa Strom snuck back into the PD, completely bored and figuring she'd see what Max was up to. She paused as she came around the corner, the shouts reaching her as she got closer to the couch. Eyes falling on the controllers and then the tv that was blasting gun fire she arched a brow. "Space Invaders? Way to date yourself." She shook her head at Max's question. "Nah, you two seem to be having...fun, already."
[2009/08/17 3:09] Ethaniel Morrisey sees the grenade coming towards him and turns, running off on a tangent, turning every corner or jumping over any obstacle he can to try and avoid Max. Thinking if he couldnt hit him, he might as well make himself a hard a target as possible. Before glancing over his shoulder to Lissa, despite being still distracted by the game, offering her a brief smile and wave, as he says. "Oh hey, it aint my fault im old, besides Keri has a thing for older men, so suits me."
[2009/08/17 3:15] Max Mactavish shrugs to Lissa as he throws another grenade after Ethan "Suit yourself" looking back to the screen as he turns the corner, switching to the sniper rifle and firing off a round to take off Ethans shields, obviously under the Halo effect as he barks out at Ethan "I GOT YOU NOW BITCH" giving a victorious cackles as he throws a sticky grenade onto Ethans back, causing him to explode a moment later. Running up next to him he glances to Ethan "How ya like nuts in yer face?" pressing the movement stick down and tea bagging him.
[2009/08/17 3:19] Lissa Strom continued to watch the scene, a smirk on her face as she watched the violence on the small television. She propped one leg up to sit on the arm of the couch. One hand came up to rub at her temple at the continued shouting. "So is this what you do at work?" She joked.
[2009/08/17 3:21] Ethaniel Morrisey swears loudly and throws the control down to the ground as he says to Max. "Yeah, i like it just fine, although im a little worried by what you are into. " As he watches his character get teabagged on screen. Before rising up to his feet, lifiting himself with his hand, before turning to say to both Lissa and Max. "Alright, i better get some work done, but yeah this is pretty much it for the Liuetenants. I at least try to let the Officers and Rookies get as much experience as they can, probably helps them learn to think for themselves." Although really had more to do with his own laziness.
[2009/08/17 3:30] Max Mactavish glances to Ethan and slowly nods to him, "Yeah, I got mine done so Ill play for abit more online." exiting the game and going into matchmaking, glancing to Lissa "Yup, this along with yelling at rookies and missing you" winking at Lissa and patting the cushion next to him as he joins an online battle. "So how was your day hun?"
[2009/08/17 3:34] Lissa Strom nodded towards Ethan and offered him a wave in goodbye before moving over to flop down on the couch and laying on her back with her head against his leg. "Uneventful." She answered, looking back up at him. "Same old around here, which I guess I can't complain about. How was yours babe?"
[2009/08/17 3:40] Max Mactavish nods as the game starts, the same map he was kicking Ethans ass on earlier. Moving over to the sniper, although hes too late and some kid gets it, lightly cursing before looking down to Lissa "Um, unless paperwork is eventful, the same as yours." grinning as he releases the controller a moment to brush away a strand of hair on her face, although the affectionate move gets him killed by a sniper, causing him to curse again when he looks back up.
[2009/08/17 3:45] Lissa Strom smiled for a moment before he cursed, eyes moving towards the tv to see what caused it. She shook her head slowlyand pushed up slightly on the couch, bringing herself into a sitting position beside him, laying her head on his shoulder so he could focus and not get killed in the game. "Paperwork is probably the most uneventful thing out there." She shrugged, knowing inventory at the store earlier had sucked.
[2009/08/17 3:55] Max Mactavish slowly nods as he sneaks up behind some noob and assasinates him, grinning victoriously as he keeps moving, grabbing a shot gun and running into a building, taking out the guy inside before running out to nearly get sniped. Jumping up and down in that classic Halo fashion of battle, he moves to the next building and goes upstairs. "Yup, so get any word from Alexia and Arcee about how camps been going? I know Alexia pitched a fit when you dropped her off because she didnt want to leave us, Arcee wasnt too happy either.." yeah, he just NPCd that since his kids havent logged on.
