Rocco Di Terenzio is an Italian-American entrepreneur, businessman, film producer / director, writer, engineer, and, among other talents and professions, pilot. Though a mysterious jack of all trades, Rocco has his own agendas and goes about doing whatever is necessary to check the items off. Born in Italy but raised in the United States, Rocco was an outstanding student in academia and always found himself very well-connected politically. It was these connections Rocco used to train as a pilot in the United States Air Force, starting off flying C-17 Globemasters and moving on to more top secret missions, often involving the transport of political and military leaders. He is an avid marijuana user. Other hobbies include: flying, womanizing, and ice hockey.

Eventually Rocco went rogue, going on to use his military experience as a pilot to form an organization that utilizes an army of sophisticated aircraft to smuggle arms and drugs, among many other, shall we say, commodities. Though this operation is not run in any central location, there are a network of underground airfields that Rocco also owns and runs. He doesn't stay in any one location long, and he has descended upon Hathian because of its reputation of being "business-friendly", and a place in which to conduct current business and find new "revenue and product generators" due to Hathian's location, which is ideal for flight paths to crucial markets.
