I've had a chat with BeBe, Chance and Parnell about this particular topic ... I'd like to try a rather large revival of drug-use in Hathian. This means that we need gangs / individual dealers mobilized and supplied to get this going.

I found a critical bug with Seclimine recently and reported it to the creator. Now, it's fixed and ready to go. I'm trying my best to work out a deal where I can purchase large supplies from the vendor in hopes to then trickle it down through RP suppliers / dealers / citizens.

What is Seclimine?

It's a scripted object / product, created for the purpose of providing both visual (HUD), auditory, chat and animated effects to your avatar while they're on the drug. Each individual pill, when taken, will expire after the effects have worn off. It's also a no-copy / transerable item which makes it ideal for selling and distributing.

It's effects are closely associated to those of ecstasy pills.

It's really quite amusing and works well with our RP. After all, it is the Crack Den!

How does one deal it?

You need to be staffed at the hospital or actually have a "CD Dealer" tag in order to distribute this drug. During this first trial, I will actually purchase a large quantity and then distribute it to particular members who will then trickle it down to the rest of the city.

Do you actually use REAL Lindens?

Yes! This is the only exception to using real L$ in RP. Each pill will be sold AT COST and is only a handful of lindens each. Detailed Pricing TBA.

Dealers can then use the money they made to buy more Seclimine from suppliers and continue their RP process. They are sold in various quantities called bags / bottles / crates / etc.

The trial should allow dealers to make money from the pills they've sold to purchase more through suppliers. Of course, this will all be done through RP, with the minor exception of actually trading real L$.

Until we can hammer out a proper economy system, this is the way we will deal. The drug is scripted and sold by a 3rd-party business which we have found entertaining to use in our RP. Simplicity is key.

Is Seclimine the only drug?

At the moment, yes, it is the only drug. I might look into getting Diablo Crack (similar effects and concept) into circulation, but we'll see how Seclimine goes first.
