Shangoya Club

BACKGROUND: Shangoya is a reggae/dancehall Club. The club is equipped with an authentic Dub Sound system, as well as a concert stage that the management can rez for live artist events. For the decoration I used depictions from the Yoruba Faith which is an African root of the Voodoo-culture themed in the sim. Shangoya the name is based on the two Yoruba Deities Shango and Oya. The club should be a place for characters from indigenous culture like in Africa, among the native americans, south east asia and all over with that kind of resistance against the (post)colonial system to meet and to offer people who are interested in playing a person of african decent a bit more substance for their background. The place is also equipped with plenty of adult content: Sex, Drugs and Violence, some in the open, others well hidden. People would have to bring their own rapey tools though, and expect security chopping them up should they get caught raping someone in the club. We are not mixing black culture with Rape culture. However, Jamaican dancehalls are very dirty thats why its called Dutty Friday (just type that in on Youtube and you see what i mean). Dancehall wining is a form of partner-twerking and not necessarily but often does lead to sex, right there at the club. So we also offer a classical meet and fuck location for all the eager ERPers, even though our events will not have a focus on that. Lions Company Money is behind the club, as ICly the club is set up in an old Warehouse at the LLWh Docks. My character Cordé requested to renovate the bosses old warehouse to a club, to become a beacon lighthouse for Caribbean smugglers on their way to New Orleans and bring more business to Hathian.

EXPERIENCE: Hathian is located in the dirty south of the states, Louisiana, near the gulf coast, not to far from the Caribbean. Considering the geographics there are very few black characters in Hathian. I wanna provide more reasons to play one and also give the existing ones more footing in CD. Also, I always wanted a reggae club and CD kinda fits to what Reggae sings about. Struggle
