Saint Mary of the Angels

BACKGROUND: The aim of this church is to have a place for CD characters to RP in if it suits their character's background/needs. Weddings, funerals, and confessions as well as other typical Catholic Church services will be available, and do not have to be run by me. Basically if anyone in CD feels like using a church as a backdrop for their RP, they're welcome to it. It'll be an open spot for use, and likely vandalism/theft (while I'm okay with) may be dealt with by the church having some NPC person always at hand and watching (only if it becomes RPly a problem). That said, any sort of RP will be welcome! While I do intend for my priest to be based there, he'll also roam to the other in game Church. I am hoping that Saint Mary's will remain non affiliated to any gangs or businesses. However, I am open to aligning with groups if this is within the parameters of what would be acceptable by the mods. Said groups would also need to convince my priest, though, who is a silly goody-good with no subversive intentions whatsoever!

EXPERIENCE: I'm rather new to CD (five months between this and my old main), but a mature player who has been on the RP scene (out of SL) for years. I've run my own RP community, and have a head for weeding out drama and trying to eliminate things before they escalate. I've found the best way to do this is by being fair and open with everyone. Transparency goes a long way - if people know you're firm but fair, they're less likely to try to cause drama.
