BACKGROUND: Luke Abernathy is a 7th-generation Hathianite fisherman and has finally scraped together enough cash to buy out his captain's boat because he was retiring. Luke gets up before dawn every day to hit the waves and bring back fresh local Louisiana fish, crab, shrimp, crawdads, and more. In this storefront, he'll serve it up fresh, ready for you to buy and take home for dinner! He'll also be available for catering, for events (like a street food stall!) and for chartered fishing trips (or "fishing" trips...).

EXPERIENCE: I think this could be a good way to bring some more 'southern soul' (and even sole!) into Hathian in a way that's authentic to the Louisiana coastline. I'm not expecting this business to be hopping (it's just a shop, after all!), but Luke's a friendly guy and is going to do his best to get the name out there and even when roleplay isn't happening the look of the shop will contribute to sim atmosphere. Additionally, it could be a good front for criminal activity, and maybe help give folks ideas for new gangs (seafood gangs are a well-established thing! And a lot of gangs could use a man with a boat and loose morals!).
