BACKGROUND: An up and coming gang within Hathian (The Omen) is looking to make their mark in the city by way of the oldest profession around. They have noticed a high demand for the sex trade yet have not seen or heard of any person/group wanting to create an actual lucrative business out of it. The Omen seeks to take the typical everyday street hooking transaction and skyrocket it to a more tasteful and pleasurable experience for both parties. With the idea of creating a safer and cleaner environment for the encounter to take place, to ease the mind of both worker and client, a high end brothel is proposed. The residence will be tailored specifically but elegantly for the escort service to be carried out but will also be offered as IC shelter to the working girls along with IC food and protection from the gang, should they agree to work for them. A detailed list of IC services and prices would be offered on a clipboard by the door as well as a "day sheet" given to the escort to fill out once a week just to tally up their own IC earnings. There will also be a mailbox which the day sheet or other notecards could be dropped into. Considering the goal of the brothel leans more toward a "high end" type feel, we would ask that the escorts also look the part. All escorts would need to be interviewed IC'ly to ensure the potential worker is well dressed/groomed and realistic (by typical modern standards). Therefore, girls with unrealistic breasts or hips or butts way bigger than their entire body put together will sadly be turned away in regards to the business. This interview will also be where they discuss what cut or percentage of earnings will be given to the Boss. We would also seek to work with a doctor or doctors to run IC health checks on the escorts to make sure they are clean and healthy. There will be a mandatory check/exam upon first getting hired that could be set up IC'ly with an actual doctor on the sim, and then routine health exams every couple of months or so. We would prefer to have at least the initial check done through roleplay as it would create more depth for all characters involved. However, if you are absolutely unable to do this, then we can discuss the possibility for NPC'ing through the hospital/clinic. The manager of the brothel will be in charge of handling all of the IC money and will be the one to pay the escorts. We prefer this to be done IC'ly but will make exceptions to NPC it should the need for it arise. Please be aware that while The Omen seeks to make this a profitable business and will do everything possible to maintain a professional atmosphere... they are still a gang. Therefore, IC decisions made by the workers/clients will be met with IC responses or consequences. For example, if an escort tries to withhold money from the gang, that escort will be made an example of and dealt with appropriately- IC'ly. If a client refuses to IC'ly pay the escort after services have been carried out or if the client physically assaults one of the escorts, those will have IC consequences as well, most likely of the violent variety. Please keep this in mind. I'm sure there are other things that I wanted to mention that have escaped my memory at present but as they come in, I will add on in the forum posts.

EXPERIENCE:We feel that it would encourage an even more immersive environment by creating several different opportunities for roleplay within the sim. There are so many possibilities for RP that can go in all sorts of directions with an actual prostitution BUSINESS ic'ly, rather than just a street transaction. Especially when it will be run by an up and coming gang that loves money. (Doctors to routinely check the workers, Lawyers to represent the gang or girls, Clients, Escorts, Other gangs, Police department, Adult entertainment personnel, the list just goes on and on!) Added to that, we feel it will give a bigger sense of "group/community" to those who wish to make being an prostitute their IC job.
