BACKGROUND: Five Gold and a Party Games (or Five Gold Games for short) will be a one-stop sanctuary for Hathian's pen-and-paper/tabletop gaming community. With a large selection of board games, role-playing supplements, collectible card games and war-gaming miniatures and accessories, we hope to fill a currently untapped niche for Hathian's geek culture. In addition to a well-stocked sales floor, we will also provide a friendly environment for gamers to come together and play their favorite games with like-minded citizens, and forge new friendships through some of the fastest growing hobbies in the world. Whether it's regular weekly IC D&D session, or just a casual IC game of Cards Against Humanity, we will have the community covered. In addition to providing a new way to RP in the city, the shop will also create new jobs and hopefully bring much needed traffic to District 8. The store is completely set up and located next to Stabbin' Cabins behind the Baelish Lounge.

EXPERIENCE: I've been involved in the building and administration of several RP sims in my time in SL (mostly prison sims), and am looking for something a bit smaller and more personal to enhance my own character's story-line while providing a place for others to do the same. Tabletop gaming is a hobby I regularly enjoy in RL, and it carries over into my RP with my character, Yelena. ICly, starting up this store is her way of finally finding her place in the city.
