Chinatown

BACKGROUND: Background: Chinatown had been a secluded neighborhood of Hathian for decades, non occupants being discouraged to enter the so called 'walled city' by the local Triad that ruled the neighborhood with an iron fists. Even the law enforcement was ignored in Chinatown and the people living in Chinatown were too afraid to go against the triad's 'laws' All that changed when the Yheng family ( some of them Hathian residents, others living overseas in Hong Kong ) managed to chase the triad out of Chinatown. The family installed Ming Yheng as the local matron of Chinatown, overseeing and managing the local businesses and taking care of the general 'welfare' of the Asian people living in Chinatown. A few businesses are open for rp : An open air Chinese restaurant, a brothel, a pub/lounge where soft drugs are sold and used and a small first aid clinic, all with an Asian flavor, of course. Chinatown even has a fighting arena that can be hired for fighting events. Also: Hathian rules are applicable in Chinatown too and of course the HPD is welcome to patrol here too

EXPERIENCE: When Deadend was still a thing I loved rp-ing in Chinatown there, the neighborhood added a special flavor to the sim. I have always missed a 'Chinatown' in CD. The easiest way to have one here is to build one myself ( with the help of my RL sister Lust Orchid, who is an excellent builder btw) I think I can say we managed to portray a typical area with the right atmosphere, cramped apartments like in Kowloon, Hong Kong (no rentals ) and a maze of narrow alleys. I don't think it will take any rp away from businesses in Hathian because Chinatown is on the Delphine sim. (ICly it can be reached by bus)
