Letter from the Editor
Fellow Hathian Psychoanalysts and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists:
I am pleased to announce the newest publication of the Hathian Psychoanalytic Society in conjunction with the Hathian General Hospital,
"Primitive Mental States". As editor in chief I would like to announce the aim and scope of the journal as well as issue a call for papers.
Primitive Mental States (hereafter referred to as P.M.S.) aims to publish work by psychoanalytic practitioners, scholars, and applied professionals, who work in the city of Hathian and its surrounding satellite cities. The journal's title refers to the scope of the most common psychopathologies that we witness and treat in Hathian: primitive expressions of sexuality and aggression most often manifested in psychotic decompensation, violent criminal activity, perversion, and trauma-related psychological injury.
Through the establishment of this journal we hope to create a lasting body of work that will document both the history and aetiology of the illnesses that we treat and the case histories of the treatment.
We accept submissions from all individuals working within a psychoanalytic perspective. Please note that patient confidentiality applies even if your are not an analyst, so take appropriate precautions in protecting the identity of patients.
Finally, I would like to inform our readers that the Hathian Psychoanalytic Society (H.P.S.) will meet at the Hathian General Hospital or in the private residences and offices of our members until we secure a suitable building in which to headquarter our institute. Finally, admission into the HPS ought to be directed to myself. Please inquire informally until we have fully established the institute.
Sincerely,
Daemon Vhargon, D. Psya
