Now, I am just going to say this as an observer of some of the things i have been seeing. This is not meant to point fingers or anything of that sort because i believe all of us at one point at one point have been guilty of this. Noobs, veterans and everyone in between we some time get caught up in the emotion of rp and the work that we put into our character that we sometimes just want for everything to work out for them and constantly play to win and have the perfect life you want. But, in reality, you will never have everything you want and quite frankly, most times, especially in the environiment we are playing in (da hood), you are going to be hopping from one hardship to another.

Why lose? One I personally believe that if you lose it helps your character development more than you winning. It helps your character realize something about themselves in the process. It makes your charcater learn the hardway that the city is unforgiving and brutal. That they must kill or be killed. Every character in my opinion especially the big gang leaders need to be beat down once and awhile. The more the better.

Now we need to eliminate the winners and those who insist on rp always going thier way. One way to do this is to stop micromanagment of rps. Sometimes for larger scenes its for the better to mircomanage to an extent limiting the number of people let in. But the outcome should be left entirely up to chance. Also respect the views of other groups. Many times, a group acts a way no matte ryou actions, you can't manage the way they react. That is life. That is why there are wars because people have polar views on topics. Evenutally they clash in bloody combat.

What is the message i am tyring to get aacross is that we need to focus more on rp and storyline rather than winning all the time and we will have a much funner and creative and productive rp. Storyline rather than winning should be the goal of everyhing you are doing. IF you are beating someone up just for fun.. oocly .. and have no ic reason it really isn't helping anoyone.
