Originally I posted this in the community leaders forum, but I thought it would be good to just 'put it out there' generally for anyone planning a party event in CD.

Speaking as DJ Puddles, one thing I would be really keen to see more with party events is co-ordinated themes with the music. Much as I LOVE dance music, I am happy to explore other Genres to keep things fresh. I have discussed some ideas with Jeremiah and Amira and there are some plans in the pipeline for some of these ideas to feature, but the kind of thing I am suggesting for inspiration is;

50's Rock & Roll night with 'Grease' style outfits and music.
Gangster/Mafia theme with Jazz and Blues.
Leathers and denim Rock Night.
High School Pop Party - School uniforms.
Divas night - only the best fabulous gowns and those belting vocalists.
The swinging Sixties - Elvis, The Beatles, beehive hairstyles and maybe a dash of Punk.
Metal and Goths - lace, leather, dark eyeshadow and white skin, Goth me up!
80s Legends - Wild hair and platform shoes to go with the Poptastic decade.
Classical/Ballroom/Opera? Maybe?

Open to any suggestions, but I would love to see some creative theme ideas with matching music to keep things fresh and new.
