Rub N Tug

TYPE: Official Business (massage parlor)

SLURL: Hathian sim, King Street

BACKGROUND: No one goes to the Rub N Tug for an actual massage. A happy ending is what it's all about. Potentially there would be a close relationship with the XXX Shop and perhaps the Titty Twister to secure word of mouth and a healthy supply of willing girls and eager clients looking for some sensual relaxation or to try out those newly bought sex toys. Events would include discount days, and staff can shoot for prestige as employee of the month. As a porn star and cam girl, Lauri would be selling the sex angle pretty heavily, seeking to draw in hookers and strippers for the roster, loosely occluding the sex trade under the guise of a humble massage parlour.

UNIQUE: There'd not be much of a tease about it. The Rub N Tug isn't shifting booze or retailing products, so the focus is on the salacious entertainment, acting more as a brothel where the management takes a cut of the girl's income to pay for the ground rent. Patrons would have a very clear idea of what they're getting.

EXPERIENCE: I ran Rader Records for a while, building up a buzz via Twitter and live music events, so using a business to engage with the community is something I'm both used to and have experience in. I'm pretty easy going, encouraging player creative freedom rather than laying down some kind of law.

IDEAS: I'd try to get the word out there about business, go for an attractive art direction with the publicity and strive to build a social network and hub that might draw people in, and I'd try to have a chat with those that sign up to work there to get an idea of what they're into so they could be promoted. I dare say the HPD could have some fun with it as well!

OTHER: A showcase party event, either on the street in front of the Rub N Tug or over at the Titty Twister to present the girls in a sort of all nude review or lingerie catwalk where the Rub N Tug would be prominently promoted could kick things off as a re-opening event once a regular roster of employees has been established.
