TYPE: Official Business

BACKGROUND: My character is hugely focused into independent music and I personally have been looking for good spots for people to get into more eclectic, oldie, and indie music which generally fits the theme of record stores. It would serve as a place for both people who love music and love playing music. I also have a strong opinion that owners should be at their business as often as possible and I would make most of my focus on bringing reasons for people to walk in. More than a title, it would be extremely central to my RP and my desire to bring in people with similar creative desires and provide an outlet. On top of that, I'm someone who is generally happy to create, tie, and weave small plots and hooks into things so people can feel comfortable finding something to hook their characters there. This can range from having musical talent, appreciation, or even serve as a place for illicit deals to happen under the table. Events would be small showcases for other musical artists, dancers, spoken word, anything of the sort. I am completely fine with running a stream and working with whoever needs it to see that their in character visions brought to reality. Shiki is an independent music artist who loves to encourage love of and passion for music in people. It's pretty much the only thing that really gets him truly hyped to talk about. It's not a hobby for him, it's his life.

UNIQUE: I want it to be a business truly focused on encouraging and uplifting other creatively focused characters. Small events for them to showcase that and get their names out, promotion through social media, and of course just a place to hang around.

EXPERIENCE: I've been a DM for the past 8 years in tabletop. I love creating and weaving stories for people. I'm currently doing it for my current friend group and I'm more than happy to give people more things for their characters to feed off of and build. Taking lead in story based RP spaces tends to be something I'm more than happy to take on.

IDEAS: I intend to be at the business about as often as I can manage t given my timezone and schedule. I will reach out to new employees and let them know that they aren't just a name on a list but rather someone recognized, tasked with different things that can give them things to play off of both at work and away from it.

OTHER: I don't think Rader Records is closed, so I'm not sure there'd be a grand reopening, but I would definitely get to work on putting together either a small concert or open mic through ICly approaching people, twitter, and general word of mouth.
