Poison Apple Tattoo & Piercing Parlor

BACKGROUND: With over 20+ years of role-playing experience in a variety of mediums, as lead I would help sustain activity within the shop as well as work with the rp community to help bind storylines for player enjoyment. As a character, Miketh has over 10+ years of tattooing and piercing experience and 6+ months of being employed at the Poison Apple. He has earned the respect of his co-workers and his boss, earning him the opportunity to become its manager. If he were to become the next lead, he would work closely with other businesses within Hathian (such as the Titty Twister and Rub N Tug, both of which are also on Bourbon Street). He would also create fliers, purchase radio ads on WKRK as well as pass out business cards to indicate when special events and sales would occur. I would also enjoy RP'ing the hiring process to anyone who would like to work at the Poison Apple and also approve of apprenticeships and to bump them up once they've spent a certain amount of time under one of the full-time artists.

UNIQUE: One of the things I believe that I would like to do should I be appointed as a lead, would be to work with other establishments in the community to host a fictional charity drive to benefit a cause that everyone would come to an agreement on. For the Poison Apple's part in the involvement, the shop would give different kinds of discounts and prizes for different things such as money and items such as food, clothing and household items. Doing this every so often would be a good way to bring all of us together for a common goal much like the Murder Mystery Game and also the Carnival.

EXPERIENCE: While Miketh has only been employed at the Poison Apple for 5+ months (real life time wise), he has earned the trust of Cordelia Hunt to where he was hired as the Head Manager for the shop. During a leave of absence period, Miketh took over the day to day operations to the shop and has been tasked with making decisions such as payroll, paperwork and hiring. If given the opportunity to do it in an official capacity I feel he would continue to help the Apple run smoothly without potential of an awkward adjustment period with the rest of the active artists currently employed there.

IDEAS: Logically I would like to run events at least once a month to every other month (without making it saturated to where people do not want to participate or attend). Some of these events would be themed around traditional holidays (Valentine's and Halloween etc) and days such as Friday the 13th. Some of these flash events would contain certain designs and jewelry to fit those themes. Of course ideally parties during the summer would also be fun with contests with best of categories (to win prizes from other Hathian businesses)

OTHER: If chosen as lead, I would likely have some kind of event to signify change in "ownership" of the Apple and work with other businesses such as Lou's (for adult refreshments) as well as Pizza Hole (for catering). Discounts on piericings and Tattoos would take place as well as perhaps a special raffle to win a prize.
