Jimmie's Chicken Shack

BACKGROUND: I'd like to bring some attention back to Jimmie's, since everybody seems to know it is there but it is often overlooked. I have some ideas of how to do this, and would love to see the chicken shack become a hive of activity and a place for old and new players to find rp. For regular events, I'd look into hosting things like monthly sales, eating contests, and even parties. I'd be ICly interviewing and training employees and having regular meetings wherever possible - RL and timezones permitting. I think that Nyx would fit as management for this because anyone who knows her will attest to her love of fried chicken. It's her favourite thing! And if that isn't enough, she knows a reasonable fraction of the town and will be able to bring some activity to the chicken shack, be it good or bad.

UNIQUE: I personally think Jimmie's has a lot of potential. It's easily found by new players being located where it is, has adequate seating for hosting events and could easily be used as a front for any number of illicit dealings. I'd like for the chicken shack to collaborate with other businesses for events and charity work. I'd also like to hold semi-regular food drives, as this will draw in the attention of customers who might not otherwise visit.

EXPERIENCE: I have years of RP experience, having been an active player in CD for a while now and various sims before that. On an OOC level, I'm able to deal effectively and positively with any issues that might arise. I also spend a lot of time actively rp'ing on sim, so I have the time to invest into the business.

IDEAS: Onyx will contact those who sign up to arrange interviews and training for those that are interested. I hope to reach out to new players by word of mouth, social media presence, and distribution of flyers.

OTHER: I would hold an eating contest, first prize being a meal named after the winner and/or free chicken for a month. This could include music, other games and a sign-up for potential recruits.
