Jimmie's Chicken Shack

TYPE: Official Business

SLURL: Hathian, Hathian Highway/Berthier St.

BACKGROUND: Currently, the chicken shack is pretty quiet. My character has an increasingly large family presence - Faye's - from players both EU and US so it would become more active. Regular events would include staff dressing up in chicken suits, to bring some comedy to Jimmie's! I would try and arrange a monthly meet with staff, so that we can all engage and hang out, IC'ly. As for management, I would like Skye to run the company and be an active member of staff herself, serving customers. She would also regularly be nearby, doing paperwork so staff aren't roleplaying alone if the sim is quiet.

UNIQUE: By holding regular events - not just for when the business reopens. It could cooperate with other businesses, and hold joint events (i.e. the Clam, the Pawn Shop) since my character has links with owners of both of those companies. I will make sure that the business has an active Twitter presence, and suggest deals, discounts and events by that too.

EXPERIENCE: I have been managing Berthier Bakery for a few months, and enjoyed engaging in events there. I also helped out Bubs OOC'ly where I could with the Gein. I dislike OOC drama on any level, and have experience in dealing with such and making sure to proactively keep a positive atmosphere. I have 9 years RP experience, previously roleplaying in Dead-End too.

IDEAS: By contacting them via IM to arrange a scene if they sign up for the business. I would arrange IC tasks for them too, regularly. As for new players, I am pretty active on-sim and will keep my eye out to encourage new players to come for food and engage either by contacting them directly or using the CD Citizens chat.

OTHER:H ave a street party, where all staff could dress up as chickens and anyone else who dresses up as chickens gets free food. I would hire a DJ and have staff try out new recipes which we can test on anyone who comes to the party - new sauces, flavours.
