Hathian Theater House

BACKGROUND: The theater, despite its prominent location on sim, is an under-utilized space. At its core, yes, it's a movie theater, but I would like to see it become more of a community arts center hosting comedy night, open mic nights, art/photography exhibits, speed dating, fashion shows, and things of that nature while keeping to its original origin by hosting themed parties to coincide with movie releases. Of course, it would be available to rent for private parties/events as well.

 

UNIQUE: This is the only theater in Hathian so that makes it unique in and of itself. It has the potential to provide the citizens of Hathian a fun venue for events of all types.

 

EXPERIENCE: I have been rp'ing in SL for about 14 years now. My character grew up in Hathian going through Seaside then the University. I've spent time in CD as well as a few other sims involved in various aspects of sim ownership and management as well as sim businesses over the years. I'm always open to rp or help out anyone. I deal with people all day rl in my job so have pretty good people skills.

 

IDEAS: Employees would be reached out to IC'ly and welcomed. Wherever their interest lie I'd encourage them to run with it. The more creative input the better. Being present in and around the Theater to draw potential people in will be key.

 

OTHER: Depending on approval time frame, if it is approved that is, would love to have some sort of pre Mardi Gras ball.
