Clam Convenience Store

TYPE: Official Business

SLURL: Berthier Street, Hathian

BACKGROUND: I would try to engage the employees and other businesses in either events or cross-promotional deals that would foster roleplay across the sim. I would also attempt to bring the clam forward as more of a Hathian community stable with events that brought players and groups to the clam. Because of the location and the clam being one of the few places to grab groceries it wouldn't be hard to run events such as block parties, cookouts or holiday events. On the employee side, I would try to find two managers who felt they could get into the roleplay and work hand in hand with the everyday employees to push either time at the store or to bring more opportunities for the store to take place in.

UNIQUE: As the only convenience store it won't be too hard to have the Clam stand out. What I would try to do is find a secondary use for the clam that would add to its repertoire. I know from the past that the clam was used for ID services and I would look into that if it brought in more roleplay. One of the possible ideas I have thought about is possibly using the back of the clam to store and sell narcotics out of depending on how the story went with suppliers.

EXPERIENCE: I've helped run roleplay sims in the past and led a few factions as well as spent time writing up documentation for roleplay. Although it has been some time I am sure much like riding a bike it will come back to me and I will be able to efficiently run the clam.

IDEAS: I would attempt to meet every new employee and old employee that start working at the clam. This would be how I would try to find people who would really want to push activity and roleplay within the clam itself.

OTHER: Depending on the time it got approved I would attempt a fourth of July block party right outside the front of the clam.
