Bros Bar-B-Q

BACKGROUND: At the beginning I see this being a legitimate business, but I can see it becoming a hot bed for criminal activity depending on how Matthew's story goes. He's fairly cleanish as of right now. Matthew currently own a cattle ranch, and all that meat has to go somewhere, so becoming the manager/owner of a local barbecue joint makes a lot of sense for him. He's got the knowledge to make some pretty good southern bbq. The man also has the management skills to succssfully run a small business. He has his own successful law firm and ranch. I want to make Bros a place of high quality, and fun roleplay. I would do my best to interact with all of my new hires, and find a manager that could help fill in for the times that I am not on. UNIQUE: Dune knows his meat and has a direct line to the supplier, keeping costs low without a middleman. He prides himself on high quality meat and would be making an effort to spread that to the community. Partnerships would be offered with any of the local bars that don't supply food, and they'd also offer catering for special events. Dune's background witht he defund the HPD movement also make it a prime target for HPD interaction, as well as a possibility for it to be utilized for meeting grounds for the movement and other criminal activity due to the fact that it's off to the side in a quieter part of the sim.

 

EXPERIENCE: I really enjoy being involved in different things, and helping drive people's stories to new and interesting places. I love seeing characters grow from what might seem like a small insignificant interaction. I tend to focus on making ripples instead of waves. I have held leadership positions in the past, and I really enjoy running a business, helping new and exiting writers. I strive to make writing enjoyable, and make sure that everyone is having a good time. With these skills I really think I could help make Bros a fun and engaging place to rp, and hopefully put it icly on the map. This is a challenge I am excited to take on.

 

IDEAS: I do my best now to help new players on sim when I see them, and answer whatever questions they may have. We are a community after all, and the only way to help this community grow is to be welcoming to new players. We all have to start somewhere, and providing a safe place for people to make mistakes and learn from them is important to me. I would love to be able to rp with every new hire I get, granted I understand that this isn't always a realistic goal. I think having a good support staff would really help with this.

 

OTHER: For a grand re-opening event I would do a block party of some kind.
