24 Hour Pawn Shop

TYPE: Official Business

SLURL: Main Street, Hathian

BACKGROUND: My character is smart and business minded. She co-owned CK Motors for two years and worked her way up in the Kogarashi to be the leader of the gang. She is an active member of the community and can usually be found on the main sim. She is friendly unless crossed and approachable for any kinds of RP and its also in her profile indicating hours of Roleplay and open to all stories. Brandie has a sim presence and will be a positive addition to the business community.

UNIQUE: While Brandie is the leader of the Kogarashi the Pawn Shop would not be a gang headquarters as they have their own clubhouse. It would be neutral in business dealings. We would not buy and sell guns do to the gang affiliation, therefore, there will be a NPC responsible for the gun part of the Pawn Shop who runs it as their business but using the Pawn Shop as location since the Armed Application is inside the Pawn Shop. The Pawn Shop would of course be open for all roleplay, standard, dark or criminal.

EXPERIENCE: I have been in CD for a long time and initially ran a business before roleplay sims became popular and clubs were centered around events, entertainment and music.This club lasted for five years. I helped create and run CK Motors that was ran out of Rougarou and it's purpose was for roleplay stories. There were many over the past two years it existed. I ran a business in AP for two years before coming to CD. I have also helped other factions and businesses in CD with creating and hosting events for them. My other character ran a sim owned business for almost 3 years and then moved to a private business for another year. I know what it takes to run a sim owned business, the dedication needed, the creativity that is expected and stories to be generated.

OTHER: I am active member of the community in good standing and am fair minded and objective. My OCD makes me be organized (Really you should see my inventory!) Incredibly detailed oriented and highly creative I know I can bring more roleplay to the main sim and bring some really good ideas to the table. I am always hit with inspiration. I know one of the questions will be - Do you think you could effectively run a sim business and a gang at the same time. My answer is simple YES. There are many businesses without leads right now and a lot of ones that do have leads are not very engaged. I plan to be be an integral part of roleplay and to be a vehicle to introduce new players to the sim and answer questions. Engaging Roleplay is what I do on a nightly business. The major requirements of owning a sim business is to be in good standing (check), works with admins (check), generates RP (check) and work with other business and be an active member of the Community Leaders (check)

IDEAS: It would be great to see the Pawn Shop to be involved with the businesses for sim wide events like the City Market. I can see sidewalk sales for items the Pawn Shop wants to move, sales that are advertised. Brandie would be very engaged with the employees to generate roleplay. To pull people into the Pawn Shop, I would like to start some rumors and generate advertising using the Observer. With the Holidays coming I can see something being actively worked on such as toys for tots etc. Make an inviting atmosphere that would be engaging for people to hang out there. I would also be open to criminal story lines and would work the cops in any story lines they would like to do. There would be a grand reopening with Clowns! Everyone loves clowns right?? (grins).
