Name: Novallie
Nickname: Nova.
Age: 14
Hair Color: Black
Eyes: Dark Brown
Nationality/Race: Native American (Ojibwe)

Nova lost both her parents at the age of five to a drug overdose.. The only memories she has of her parents weren't pleasant ones. A flash of her mother shooting up in the kitchen here.. a flash of her father smacking the crap out of her there. The councilors and Social Service people commented on Nova's detachment to her parents, how she didn't show emotion when they asked about her parents. When she got older, a therapist that was issued to her current group home asked her why she acted like she didn't care about her deceased parents. Nova's only answer was " They didn't love me and I didn't love them, I didn't wish death on them, but I don't really care that they're gone either." Nova's body has a tone of scars, not just from her parents abuse when she was a youngster, but from the countless fights she'd get into in the foster homes, or the abuse she endured at the hands of her many foster parents.

Nova and recently moved into a new foster home, the foster mother had seemed nice enough, and there wasn't that many kids there, she thought maybe she could just stay here.. finish her schooling and go off to collage, that was until she had dropped a dish on her first night there.. Her new foster father came flying in the kitchen, glared at Nova and the shattered plate. He had wanted her to get on her knees on the shards as punishment, and when she refused he had punched her, twice in the stomach and once in the face, that is the night that Nova packed up what she could in her school bag, got on the first bus she saw and randomly getting off in Hathian. Now in a new city, and pretty damn sure that noone will find her there, she focuses on her schooling, convinced that a good education is her ticket to having a better life.
