Meanwhile, Starling(as he prefers to be called) is shuttled from foster home to foster home where his behavior issues start to become apparent. He's not a bad kid, but he has issues expressing himself -- and when he does, teachers don't like what he has to say. Morbid interests. Keeps himself apart from his peers, and when forced to work together in a group, becomes manipulative and mean. One teacher's aide swore up and down she saw him burning ants with his glasses during recess. Even still, Starling's an alright kid, one-on-one, especially if you're someone he sees as an adult. Quiet. Morbid, even for a 12-year-old. Not prone to outbursts -- unless his boundaries are crossed, and he is bad at communicating them. Bright, and endlessly creative -- but difficult to motivate him towards studies that aren't in his interests. With patience and an open mind, he can be a joy to be around, but those are just not always afforded to him. If he likes you, though, he wants you to like him, very badly. Starling has been placed with a foster family in the Hathian area, and while patient with him, his fosters don't have the kind of time his issues require. He can be found wandering the Hathian environs on the Shoreside end of town. in any case, my name's Leo, i've been rping since neopets in the early 2000s and on SL since 2012, but only recently really started commiting to rping here. :]< |
