Nilay was born in Turkey and lost her parents at the tender age of 5 years old. She was raised by her brother and doted upon including having private tutors and growing up very secluded from the world. A devout Muslim, she has a wild side that often shows itself when she is dabbling in weekend drug use. Modest and demure, Nilay is quiet and shy around new people or crowds of people. She often tries to present herself in a very prim and proper manner.

The Badem family holds many secrets and Nilay protects those secrets. She knows that it could mean her life is forfeit if those secrets ever got out. Nilay carries a knife to protect herself, she enjoys shooting guns, but she is not much of a fighter with fists.
