I would like to invite residents of Hathian to use the ground facilities I've built in a plot in Black Bottom. On touring CD, I was struck that although there are soccer pitches and basketball courts, there are few useable swimming pools, and even fewer of them public access (as in, most of the useable ones are in fenced off property and therefore are private). A city the size of Hathian should have swimming provision, and therefore I've made a pool and changing facilities at the following location: -

The pool is located here or for those who prefer descriptive directions, it's opposite the Columtreal University Sports Pitch and next to the GRIM House - the building is light blue.

Of course, as everyone knows Hathian's Council is strapped for cash, so it's not huge and there is graffiti, and it desperately needs a paintjob and yes the door hangs at an odd angle because every time it's repaired, someone decides to swing from it and therefore they gave up repairing it in the end. But it's kept (relatively) clean and you won't catch a disease swimming in the water or using the facilities (unless you temporarily RP it as such lol).

There is a swimmer ball which rezzes floaties which will allow up to five people to swim at a time without even having any kind of swimming HUD. The female changing facilities (signposted) are to the left as you go in the building, the male ones round the corner to the right. Both changing rooms have gender-specific free swimwear and towels to dispense from the lockers.

I suspect the college kids will use it most since it's close, but all are welcome, bring your kids on a day out if you want.

Come for a swim, or just sit on the side and dip your feet in! 🙂

There's also a basketball court at the back you're all free to use.
