He lost all his inherited family heirloom from gambling, a habit he could never stop. His mortgage was all confiscated, his bank accounts frozen, and angry money lenders were chasing after him. He had to leave town and get off the grid, and after passing through several cities and towns, he finally arrived in Hathian. He was broke, with only a few bucks that would get him through a few days.

In his early days he was smart, top of his class, and was able to get a medical degree at a relatively young age. He was, however, reluctant to start a practice in Hathian as he had to lay low. But he needed money, so through an old contact who owed him some favors, he changed his name without the federal bureau knowing and faked his own medical license, and applied for the Hathian General Hospital as a part time ER intern.

But old habits don't just disappear. Although Hathian is probably not the best place for gambling, surely there are other vices that can fulfill one's needs...

He is generally quiet, probably due to all the 'laying low', but deep inside he has a kind heart. But sometimes he just has to get out of himself, his mischievous side getting the better of him, and fails to stay out of trouble.
