Hi everyone !
Ive played in CD before a long while ago but something evil happened to my previous avie and LL cant fix it (hoping it will fix itself :S) so i decided to just start afresh with a new avie and a new character in CD. Seeing as the new University looks really interesting i thought i would give it a go 🙂
Took me a couple of days to figure out a background story but here it is (sorry its a bit long cant stop myself once i get going :P)
PS. My avatar name is Maya Ranimodo just in case i ever forget to put on my RP Titler 😛 Hope to meet you all soon and make some good friends 🙂

Maya Parker grew up a typical rich kid with affluent parents in a large house in London.
She spent her school years in an all girls school and was a popular girl with a princess attitude.Despite her
spoilt ways she was looked up to by the other girls who would follow her around just to be seen with her and
academically was an ideal student,even leading class groups and comittees.
She had the upbringing that would have lead her to a bright future until she met Jack....

Maya's Father worked in a legal firm and had made a well respected name for himself in London representing
clients that were down on their luck, financially unstable or just plain criminals as well as the usual
fat cats that had got themselves into business trouble. He would work away a lot in a city called Hathian
that her Mother refused to tell her about. All she knew was that her Fathers friend 'Uncle' Lou lived near
the city and aided her Father with his cases there.

Jack...Maya's sweetheart and downfall....he was the first boyfriend she had ever had. Growing up in a girls
school did'nt do much for her emotional and sexual development. All of her experiences before him had
been with girls and she had enjoyed them that way until she met Jack.
He was dirty clothed and boyish, long tangled dark curls around equally dark brooding eyes.
Giggling girlishly with her friends she had spotted him watching her climbing onto the thrill ride at
the carnival that summer....the summer everything went wrong.

The local carnival worker was not exactly what her parents had in mind for her,he lived in a trailer,hung out
on the streets and smoked drugs.
Maya on the other hand was sure she had found her soulmate and was infatuated with him. Slowly she started
going off the tracks - running away from home to be with him, not coming home till she was dragged back
by the police her Father had sent for her and taking money from her Mothers purse to give him when he was broke.

By the following winter Jack had got himself into serious problems owing people money for drugs.
He was gradually drawing Maya into his dark life often sending her out to charm a guy or into lending her some
cash or to sweet talk his dealer into giving him a few more days to pay up, but eventually as her looks
started fading with the drugs she was now taking the charm was wearing off and Jack had to find another way to
rid himself of his huge debt.

In Maya he found a willing accomplice, a girl so smitten she would do anything he asked, and they devised a plan
to 'rid' him of his debt.
Jack made the phonecall to his dealer and the trap was set. He had arranged to meet him at the old cemetary and
the deal was - his debt cleared - with Maya for payment. The dealer had laughed his filthy laugh and agreed that
he would 'return' her in 7 days when the debt was paid off.
Shivering in the cemetary Maya played her part perfectly, pretending she knew nothing of the deal and screaming
like a true actress as the leering pervert turned to drag her into the van.
Moments later Jack bloodied hands were in her hair as he kissed her and led her home. The winter snow in the
cemetary turning crimson and melting into rivulets like the tears on her face.

Only days later Maya's Father was on the phone to 'Uncle' Lou, something had happened and he knew it,as they
said at the firm 'You can't kid a kidder'. Maya's persona had changed she had become jumpy and nervous a far cry
from her attitude of the last few months.
Lou worked with Maya's father but he wasnt a lawyer like him, his part of the job was to sniff out any dirt he
could find on the accusing party and make sure that if the case was going badly he had enough to make them drop
the charges.
After a long conversation with his friend he agreed to dig up what was going on with Maya and within a couple
of days he was back with the grim findings.

Once they knew just how serious it was Maya was called in to hear the plan which would change her life forever.
As Maya sat and sobbed her Father solemnly informed her of what was to happen as her weeping Mother quietly
packed her bag.
Lou had made a few calls and managed to procure Maya a small room in Hathian City and thats where she would be
sent to live.
She was to be legally cut out of her parents wealth from the outside to assure no one suspected they knew where
she was, as far as they were concerned she had run away and did'nt want to be contacted.
When she arrived at Hathian she was to enroll herself in the Columtreal University and meet secretly with Lou
once a week to pick up a small amount of money that her parents would send.
Lou had pulled a few more strings and new ID for Maya would be ready the next day from now on she would be
known as Maya Parker and she would never see Jack again.
Maya was numb as she said goodbye to her parents and tearfully rode to the station in Lou's car.

With just a small amount of cash and belongings in her bag she arrived in hathian, heart broken and alone.
Heading for the university to start her 'new' life she wondered if she would ever see her Jack or her parents
again....maybe he would still find her..... maybe there was a way to go back....someday..
