AnonymoussaidRecently I had been called out on case. I Rp'd the scene out, taking the victim the hospital and everything. I spend over an hour and a half investigating, questioning, and typing out reports. Nearly finished with the scene. I ask the suspect if he would like to tell me if evidence was left at the scene. This was the response I received after an hour and a half of investigating the scene and questioning of suspects and witnesses.( I used asterisks in the name in hopes they will stop metagaming and powergaming. [2009/06/06 1:25] Sarrah Carlucci: I need to know if your character left evidence So basically I investigated this case for nothing as there is no possible way to ID anyone that could be a suspect in the crime. Come on, get an imagination and live a little. Is your total 15 minutes of actually being locked up in our jail before someone comes to bail you out gonna make you lose sleep? I feel that I have been fair in my scenes. I allow people to escape, I allow attacks to be made against me, I allow my self to be injured. I don't always get my suspect. I don't bully citizens. and I respond every time I am not on another call. To some of you ( and you know who you are ) I would like to say I will no longer be responding to your scenes as you have taken the fun out of investigations. No crime is perfect, and yet there are still those that are above logic, science, and more. I have begun to call these people " SUPERBAD " First for the combination of the words Super and Bad Guy. Second, for the way they are able to always get away like Superman flying of into the sunset. Third mainly I find this to be super bad because I feel they are not capable of role playing in this type of environment. I understand this is a RP environment where the reality of life does not always coincide with the mechanics and story behind a scene, but if you expect me to think you're always able to escape, always able to run, always able to block every thing thrown at you up to and including Halley's Comet, and all around....escape any possible consequences, then please let me know up front so that I can give my attention to those who would like to engage in a strategic scene filled with twists and turns. A scene that includes an actual plot and dynamic story for my fellow officers and I to solve or investigate.I apologize, I hate, hate, hate to complain. But it is getting old fast. To those who sincerely RP a realistic scene, I thank you for making CD so much fun. |
