We seem to have a problem with the den's rp at the moment.

It seems that everyone wants to be a psychopathic serial killer. This is getting pretty ridiculous.

Let's get some creativity going in the role play. Having the same things rp'ed over and over and over and over and over is getting stale. There can only be so many gas mask wearing, chain saw wielding, sword fighting, schizophrenic people in one town.

Nobody is rp'ing things like: working in the clam, teaching classes at the school, bar-tending at Lou's bar, playing doctor's or nurses at the hospital, flipping burgers at Gein Burger. We have no drunken bums laying on the sidewalk. We have no junkies dancing around in the middle of the street high as a kite. We don't have people getting mugged, cars being broken into. We have no rotten teenagers stealing wallets, stealing candy and smokes from the Clam. We don't have the "slacker crowd" hanging out drinking vodka late at night by the subway. (I miss you guys!) We don't have hookers on the corners heckling people as they walk by for "a good time." There are no priests walking the streets telling us we are all going to hell. We don't have moms slapping their kids for being brats! There are no drug dealers with fat backpacks of seclimine, cocaine, etc...to feed the junkies!!

Let's start thinking outside the box! Not everyone can be "Bob Billy Bob Bad Ass." Role play can be fun and quality without burning down the Twister four times a day or by 10 people running around with running chainsaws in one hand and a sword on their back.

Don't be afraid to try something different. Don't think you have to be like everyone else. Try something new!
