Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. I am Ava Moirai, the middle sister. I am the middle sister and 19, Bunni is the oldest (25) and then there is Clarie, barely 18. We just rode into town on the bus this past week. ((Clarie isn't officially here yet)) How did we end up in Hathian? That answer requires a story time. Popcorn anyone?

At an early age we became wards of the state due to our mother's neglect and abuse of heroin. At age 7, 1 and newborn us three sisters were split up and sent to different parts of the system. Bunni ended up aging out and then followed in our momma's life choices and was soon strung out and on the streets. I bounced around from home to home, it wasn't that I was a bad kid, I just didn't always play well with others. I always try to do the right thing but sometimes the rage just bubbles right out and not many foster parents were ready to deal with that.

At about 10 years of age I found myself in a family where the foster dad was a cop, a crooked, abusive, asshole of a cop. My experiences with that family left me scarred and distrustful of authority figures, especially law enforcement. Of course when I left that home the blame of it all was placed squarely on my shoulders and the decision was made that I would only be placed in group homes moving forward. One can learn many things in group homes. One lesson is that loyalty to the wrong people can lead you straight into trouble. Despite it all I survived and aged out of the system. Armed only with a picture of the three of us and what little bit of paperwork the Florida children's services provided me I set out in search of my sisters. I found Bunni on the streets.

It took time and work but she got herself together with me beside her. I just hope she stays together, I don't want to have to put the pieces back together again. Once she was clean we set out looking for Clarie.

We heard she was about to age out of the system in Louisiana, so it was goodbye Tampa, hello Hathian! Little did we know that Clarie had been on an adventure of her own and was looking for us!

Finally together us three sisters are starting out fresh here Hathian, and we are looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone.
