She arrived in Hathian not so long ago, maybe a week or 8 days, she doesn't count the days. Up to her 19th year she lived in Hong Kong with her father, who was and still is the leader of one of the largest Triads there. Ming was trained as an interrogator and torturer, she excelled in the latter. She was sent to Deadend by her father when she turned 19 to establish a new stronghold for the triad's drug trading. Slowly working her way up she became known as the widowmaker, people avoided her at all costs, terrified to be caught in her sadistic web.
Ming even managed to work her way into the Deadend Police Dept. as a CSU Sergeant, a perfect job for her, this way she could cunningly brush evidence pointed towards herself under the carpet, even alter it so that others, her enemies, would be arrested for her own crimes.
To make a long story short....Ming is now 24, grown more mature although she remains the typical bipolar scatterbrain everyone in Deadend knows...
But something happened in Deadend which made her decide to leave, the city had changed, it was not -her- Deadend anymore and she packed her bags....arriving in Hathian to visit a close friend and tell her about her plans....
She decided to stay......
After her move to Hathian she joined the HPD, having lost her wild hair and decided to actually be a lawfully good cop, although that would probably not last long...a snake drops her skin every few months but the venom remains....
Ming was horrified with what she heard and saw : some officers raping and abusing girls, some afilliated with gangs. This was not a police force she wanted to be associated with and after merely a week she handed in her badge, this was the moment she realised she had changed....her sadistic, evil side seems to be buried under a blanket of tenderness and guilt....or is it just a temporary mask? No one knows....and only the future will decide.
She now works as a waitress in the Slim Goodies Diner, has made a lot of friends, mainly in Rhage's family and recently met a girl named Lian-Shi who has a strange effect on Ming....one which yet has to be revealed...and it confuses her, confuses her a lot.
