I would like feedback on a possible story arc idea for Hathian.

I thought of this while reading about the riots and #defundHPD declarations.

What if an election was held for interested candidates in becoming the mayor of politics, able to pass local laws to change how Hathian operates? Would they support the police and fire department, establishing new legal and enforceable protocols that allow them to arrest and cite with more force than before? Or would they defund the police as many of the general public cry for and ease the restrictions for criminals?

It would be most amazing if there were candidates on each side with official campaigns running before an election. That way we can see who is the best at marketing their strategy for the city. Also, if there were elections held regularly, the tables could always turn on the other party. That way it isn't one-sided the whole time.

Is this something you Hathian citizens  would like to see and participate in?
