She always seems to be running from something. Moving from place to place, never able to fit in anywhere. Just looking at her, you know something's not right. She's always twitchy. Always paranoid. Always looking for her next fix. Anything will do, really. Anything to make her forget her past, make her forget who she really is.
Her life started out normal enough. Normal family. Parents divorced, but still loving. Younger sister always underfoot. One day she comes home from school only to find they are gone. No trace. No note... no nothing. At 16 years old, that's a terrible thing. She was taken into foster care, and passed around again and again. No one was really mean to her, but she can't shake the suspicion that her family left because of -her-. Could she have done something different? Who knows. Now, she just wants to forget they ever existed.
