Hi hi - Mari was introduced last year as a new student at CU but rl got cray cray so I abandoned that story and am hoping to start over with her as just another thot on the loose, sometimes running away from various & sundry dark forces that are mostly unearned family circumstance type problems involving her shitty dad and his girlfriend. She grew up with him (sort of) in a southern trailer park after her parents split up. Her mom promised to come back and get her when she had a place for them, but obviously that never happened. Life sucked but was tolerable until her dad met his girlfriend, who made Mari's life fucking hell. One night, her dad's girlfriend accused Mari of stealing from her, called the cops and they arrested Mari and everything, but the police chief knew it wasn't true and gave her a chance to just get the fuck out and never look back. "We'll tell them we don't know where you went, and that had better stay true, girl - I don't want to hear from you again."

So, Mari's come here looking for her bio mom, finds out mom is dead but the details aren't adding up. Mari just wants to know more about her mom, not really suspecting she'll be able to uncover anything of consequence regarding her death. She hangs out in the cemetery a lot talking to her, and at the beach just staring off into space. Like I said, always a lil baked, right?

Mari's 19, working at the Clam and staying at the motel while she looks for a place she can afford (anybody need a roommate??). She's always a little baked, and carrying her vape and iphone. She usually carries a pocketknife and a little keychain pepper spray. She loves animals, trashy tv, and spacing out on her phone.

I love to RP, and going to let the rest of her story develop naturally, but I'm still  warming up again so if anyone is up for lowkey "adopting" Mari as a homie or maybe even being related somehow that would be badass!!
