Bio: Mai Sato is an art student with an interest in sociology also. She's 21. She and her brother, 19, who is also a student, moved into Devil's Pocket when they inherited an old place from a relative (who loved them and felt sorry for their situation). If she can't get something on campus, she will be looking for part-time work to keep ahead of things.
Speaking of which, Mai and her brother left home/got kicked out several years back due to family tensions - their parents are very old-school with old country rules who would have disowned Mai and her brother if they were still back in Japan. Things were not easy for a couple of years, but they got their GEDs, and they stuck together, of course. Mai is quiet but not shy - she is more wary of people she doesn't know. She will always try to help if she can but does not make friends easily. She is serious about her brother, protective of him, and puts him as her first priority. Mai is used to being rejected because she is different, but that doesn't make her like it.
OOC: I've had little experience with this type of storytelling RPG and am a bit nervous. Don't hesitate to hit me with a clue bat anytime, anywhere.
