Madisyn grew up in a home where her mother was an addict, so she always did everything for herself. After her mother's death on her 13th birthday, she was placed into two different foster homes where she was physically and verbally abused. On her 18th birthday she left what was considered home and took to the streets. She met a man by the name of Phat Daddy who made her turn tricks, so she made her money by prostituting. After thinking she escaped that life, Phat Daddy found her and beat her black and blue, taking every dime she had before releasing her back to the streets. Now cold, hungry, no place to go, and looking over her shoulder, she's trying to turn her life around. Her only problem is that the streets keep calling her name. Going to college may change Madisyn's natural street habits. Or is college just an excuse to party, drink illegally, and get high. Madisyn only knows abuse, let downs, violence, and the streets, what more can life offer her.
