((i left CD about a year and a half ago to focus on a new job, moving house, etc etc etc, but i look forward to diving back into the stories i once created here! 😀 ))

· Name: Lydia Bennet
· Age: 21 (June 9, 2003)
· Gender/sex: Female
· Height: 5'5"
· Weight: 120 lbs
· Job: Seeking employment
· Relationship status: You wish
· Family: Silas (son [3/26/23]), NPC parents (alive), 4 NPC sisters (alive)
· Injuries: Right forearm scar, scar across throat, right upper arm bullet graze scar, C-section scar, 2 GSW scars on stomach
· Backstory: Having grown up in affluence, her decision nearly 2 years ago to leave with her then-boyfriend was a dramatic break from her former life, driven by both a desire for independence and a rebellion against the expectations set by her family. When that relationship ended, her path took an unexpected direction as she found herself with limited resources and no immediate support.

Hathian, with its rough edges and dark underbelly, was a far cry from her previous lifestyle. Her initial work as a cam girl and then an adult film actress, while controversial, offered her a means to survive independently. After her immediate needs were settled with the influx of cash, she began working as a cashier at the Pie Hole to cover the growing expenses of a new baby.

Once her son Silas was born, everything changed. Without explanation, the father of Lydia’s newborn vanished, leaving her with a lump sum of money—a settlement of sorts, almost as if he was paying to sever ties completely. His exit marked the end of that chapter in her life.

The violence that followed Lydia in Hathian, however, shook her to the core. The decision to leave with her next boyfriend for New Orleans was as impulsive as most of her life's decisions. But that relationship, recently ending as tumultuously as it did, added to the emotional weight she’s been carrying.

Returning to Hathian—despite the city's painful memories—feels like a homecoming of sorts. It’s a place she didn’t think she’d go back to, yet something about the city draws her in. Hathian may be harsh, but it's familiar, and after all she’s been through, she thinks she knows how to navigate its dangers. This time, she’s coming back stronger, with a clearer sense of what she wants for herself and Silas. Lydia is ready to rebuild her life, even if it means confronting the ghosts of her past in a city she once ran from.
