[Avatar Name: Paulo Spicoli] [Character Name: Paul Gomes]

Paul Gomes began his walk from the subway already mumbling under his breath. The previous day had not gone his way until he was with his son. His mind was cluttered now. The damned travel time was no help either from city to city. As he rounded the corner he saw a bunch of people around the daily grind. He initially dismissed it as another fight. As he neared his eyes widened when he saw Billy in the mix. He rushed over angrily and with his hand gripping something in his pocket. "What the fuck is going on billy?", he asked ignoring everyone else.

Kol blinked through the rain dripping down her face, silently thankful for the rinsing. It had been several days since she'd showered. She looked away and rubbed her arm as if nervous but she was really discretely rubbing off some dirt that had accumulated there. Her pale eyes turned back to the cop, wondering why he hadn't done something to stop this before it started.

HenryW Strazytski had happened on to it in the middle of it. Henry figured it wasn't anything to worry about "If you say so. Behave. Got that? or next time I run you in." He wasn't going to arrest anyone here. He didn't have probable cause to do anything about it. Pretty good chance these two would go at it again after eh left. but there was nothing he could do about it.

Billy Gomes turned to hear his dad. Fuck, fuck, fuck! He turned towards his dad, staggering as he placed his hands on his chest; "Nothing. Nothing, come on dad!" He tried to move his dad away before the situation was explained. Hoping his father wasn't in a bad mood; "I need to go to the hospital." He spoke in attempt to worry his father so he'd leave with him. His hat and clothes drenching in the rain, muscle shirt sticking to his pale skin. He looked to everyone, trying to nod, as if thanking them.

Lucifer Firelight would need to make note to thank Billy with everything the mute had as soon as he could, he moved down the ally and out of sight. He'd have to play it safe

Delphine Wirsing sighs, deciding now might be a good time to head on out of here. She gives a nod in Billy's direction, not certain if he'll notice it since he seems distracted. Her gaze flits towards the man that had leered at her, frowning slightly as she slips past him and heads towards what appears to be an alley near the Vodou city line.

Anvidian Lotus tries to avoid walking on litter or people and heads for the coffee urn

Kiyoshi Nyoki watched Lucifer round the corner and brooded on another way to catch up with him. But, first things first, he needed to get out of the rain. He was soaked completely by now, and started to shiver. Sighing with relief, he realized the guy apparently the kid's dad might leave him alone. He would round the corner of the Grind, ambling off towards the Titty Twister.

Paul Gomes had his suspicions blowing through the roof. His eyes went a million miles an hour to everyone and everything that surrounded them. His hand getting tighter as he gripped his pocket. He heard every other word as the last word and it didn't make sense. Billy now came at Paul trying to push him back. He was torn between the scene and taking him to the hospital. Paul would try to keep everyone's face in his mind. He looked over at billy and snarled, "Let's go".

HenryW Strazytski was getting wet. thank god for water resistant stuff. he was gonna have to wipe down some of his gear so it didn't rust. It looked like things were over here. and he turned to leave this mess.

Kol glanced between the new man and the wounded boy. 'Billy,' she thought to herself, making a mental note. She tried in vain to not notice the way his shirt clung to him in the rain. His 'dad' certainly didn't look old enough to be billy's father but the thought of a parental figure was more comforting than she'd like to admit. She took a deep breath and glanced around before trailing behind them at a safe distance.

Billy Gomes(Julyan) winced at his father's tone. He tucked his skateboard under his bag, before crossing his arms over his stomach. He still felt that sinking feeling as he stumbled to the hospital, keeping his head down. If anyone could make him feel worse then a kick in the junk, it was his father.

Paul Gomes practically rushed headlong through the double doors into the hospital lobby. He figured billy would follow behind either way but he wasn't checking on it. He went to the nurses station with his hair soaking wet from the rain that it dripped almost all over the paperwork. "My son needs a room", he demanded to the npc nurse. She looked at him and then at billy wondering what was going on. *Sir you have to fill out some paperwork so we can admit him*. Paul sighed and looked over his shoulder at billy and rubbed his forehead. "Are you fucking serious? Just give me the damn papers and admit him", he said louder now. *Sir please stay calm or be escorted out by security*. The warning all too reminiscent but never intimidating. "Fine.", he admitted finally and decided not to argue with her.

Billy Gomes couldn't help but smile at hid Dad's abrasive features; "Dad. I just need some pain pills. Maybe a bucket." Billy's never been hit, even once in the package. He felt as if he was gonna barf. He looked up at the two girls, offering a jagged smile before he just flopped back on the ground, holding his tender groin; "Humphph. Ice?" He looked up at Paul with a pained and faintly desperate look.

Kol had entered quietly through the sliding glass doors to find the pair directly in front her her and froze. Her tired face brightened at the smile and started to return it before he fell to the ground again, holding himself and she could only offer a worried look. She pulled her gaze from him and hurried over to the waiting area, hoping she didn't look as suspicious as she felt. Every few seconds she would steal a glance to check on him wondering if he was all right.

Paul Gomes frowned at the clipboard that was handed to him and the pen. *Please fill that out and hand it to me when you are done sir. Thank you.* Paul wanted to smack her for her ignorance but decided against it for the time being. Paul once again peered over his shoulder as he took the clipboard and turned fully around to face Billy. Right now he just stood quiet. In his mind Billy was attacked by someone and considering what was told to him yesterday he mentally assumed it was related. *Here is some ice for your son sir*, the npc nurse called out behind him. Paul grabbed the ice pack and handed it to billy and once he took it he would head towards the chairs to fill papers out.

Billy Gomes took the ice, staggering up, holding onto the counter for support, he sat right next to the girl, offering a strange smile as he slowly set the pack on his groin, making a weird noise; "I don't know if it feels good or hurts." He spoke out loud. Closing his emerald eyes as he leaned over on his father's shoulder, finding faint comfort in him.

Kol saw the two approaching and looked around for a magazine or something to busy herself in but found nothing . She began wringing out her scarf that was now probably ruined. Since her things had been stolen, she was down her only pair of clothes. She let out a heavy sigh. Out of her peripheral she saw him flash a smile but wondered how on earth he could smile as he set the ice pack... 'there'. She blushed, still not looking at him, chewing her bottom lip anxiously. A little snort escaped her nose in response to his odd statement.

Paul Gomes sat down on one of the seats and started filling out the papers. Same old shit questions they ask every time. Hospitals are dull and Paul hated them with a passion. Anything that made him lose control was something that turned him off completely he would have a problem. The back of the pen hitting the papers on the board. Billy laid his hand on Paul's shoulder but he was pissed off to offer comfort. He loved his son nevertheless. "What the....", he began to say not staring at billy or anyone else but at his papers in his own world, "..fuck happened?".

Billy Gomes sighed, lifting his head as he laid his head back, shifting his seating so he was more comfortable; "Guy calls me a fah, I popped him in the face, he cheap shotted me in the nuts." He said the whole situation with such ease, feeling the pain beginning to ease down. He placed his hands on his spread knees, exhaling; "Nothing to worry about dad..."

Kol wrapped her arms around herself, partially for warmth and partially for comfort. She thought of how nice it would be to have a dad come yank her out of trouble if she needed it and envied Billy. Shivers occasionally shook her body thought she fought to sit still in the cool air of the hospital. Once his head leaned back she thought maybe his eyes were closed and chanced a look at his face, trying to place his strange accent.

Paul Gomes shook his head frustrated now. His mood was prohibiting him from filling out the rest of the papers. Perhaps he over reacted but was he wrong to care for someone he loved? Is it a crime? He just gave out an audible grunt. "Who did it?", Paul asked curiously and with a hint of anger in it. He pictured all of the faces that were at the scene.

Billy Gomes took off his bag in a quick motion, setting it and the skateboard on the ground. He opened his bag, shifting around within it before he pulled out his thick hoodie. He straightened it out, before reached over and draping it over the female's shoulders if she allowed. Before going right back to lookin at his father. He sighed and nudged his father's shoulder; "Dad... No one. Come on. Please don't worry about it. My fault for reacting when he called me a fag, ya'know?"

Kol 's eyes flew wide open at the gesture. No one had showed her any kindness thus far in the city and she gulped, finding a huge lump in her throat, her eyes growing watery. "Th-th-thank you..." she mumbled, still trembling from the cold. Though her shivering probably disguised her speech impediment, she cursed herself inwardly for not being able to speak clearly. She clutched the sleeves of the shirt and pulled it tightly around herself, breathing a silent sigh of relief.

Paul Gomes had forgotten almost how chilly it was getting in there but his leather jacket insulated him from the temperature. Billy told him that it was his fault for over reacting. That made no sense and billy knew it. Paul looked over at billy and if he looked back at him he would see Paul biting his lower lip and raising a brow as if to ask him *are you joking?*. He looked over at the papers again and was finally on the last page. The girl on the far end softened Paul up a little for some reason. Perhaps he felt something about her. "Take my jacket billy if you are cold", he said as he stared back at billy tapping the back of the pen again on the board.

Billy Gomes paused for a moment to look over at the girl. She was pretty small, but so were most the girl's in Hathian. He offered an awkward smile; "You're welcome." He spoke, reassuringly. Was still strange to talk to a female. He tended to avoid them. He looked towards Paul now, reaching to take his trench coat sleeve within his hand; "I'm not." He whispered. He was still weird around his father ever since yesterday. He leaned over to Paul, nuzzling into his arm to calm himself. Taking in his scent.

Kol 's eyes flickered to billy's dad, worried she'd annoyed him by accepting billy's hoodie. She started to pull it off to hand it back but stopped when he said you're welcome. A shy smile spread across her lips as she stole a glance at his face, noticing his eyes for the first time. Her face fell a little before she tore her gaze away, her entire face turning pink.

Paul Gomes signed his name and handed the board to billy so he could sign his name on the last line. Since Billy was 18 he had to do it himself. He offered billy a slight smile and exchanged glances at the girl at the end. Is she looked at him he would just smile at her to reassure her he wasn't stressing that his son gave her a jacket in a kind gesture. That actually lightened Paul's mood. The rain seemed to subside outside which offered a flicker of hope when stepping out again.

Billy Gomes took the board. And signed his name. It was just a large, quick cursive Z with a dot. He offered it back to his father; "I think it's better." He spoke, trying to smile to try to make his father feel better. He slowly pulled the ice from him, thighs burning at the cold feeling against them; "Maybe it was that walk-it-off type wound." He laughed, lightly.

Kol smiled uneasily at his dad's smile, thankful for that instead of a peeved look or worse but still unsure of herself. She pulled the sweatshirt around her chest and slouched down into it, breathing it in subtlety. The coffee grounds and tobacco scent permeated it and made her chuckle for some reason, though it was muffled. She couldn't help but glance over his shoulder as he signed and arched a brow at the lack of a "B" anywhere in his signature. Her eyes involuntarily followed his gesture, eliciting another furious blush.

Paul Gomes accepted the board back. He flipped the papers back to order and clipped the pen back to it's place. "I'm glad your feeling better buddy", he said as he stood up to walk to the nurses station. Paul calmed down by now but was growing worried. It was a natural emotion for such circumstances. "Excuse me Nurse", he began to say as he handed her the papers. His back towards everyone else as he spoke with the npc.

Billy Gomes watched his father for a moment, sighing. God he was still so flustered from the other night. 'I love you billy' just running through his mind over and over again. God dammit. He covered his face a moment , setting the bag on his lap; "You alright?" He asked, slowly looking to the girl; "You can keep the jacket if you need to. I have like, fifteen." He was obviously trying to be nice, it was difficult to look at a female and not want to react rudely.

Kol had warmed up significantly since she took the shirt but felt she couldn't take it from him. She offered and grateful smile and pulled it from her shoulders to hand it back to him. She wanted to speak as little as possible and spare herself the embarrassment. "I'm f-f-f-fine..." She had started to say when a growl snarled from her empty stomach and she gulped again, hoping it wasn't as loud as it seemed to her.

Paul Gomes waited as she looked them over like the dunce she looked. What seemed like forever was actually only a little while. *Thank you sir." the npc said. "I guess he is fine but needs some painkillers", he told her bluntly. She would possibly deny him but he had to try. *We'll see what we can do sir. A doctor will be with you shortly to fill out a prescription*, she told him calmly now but still annoyed from his attitude earlier. "Fine", he said. He turned around and headed back towards the seat. His eyes looking at billy and the girl. Right there he saw billy and what could have happened. He would have never forgiven himself he thought.

Billy Gomes perked. His heart sunk. Fuck him and his compassion. He took his jacket, before just draping it over her; "Hey dad..." He spoke, still looking at the female; "Think we can get some food?" He asked, smoothly. He would offer all of his heart to a tin man, all of his courage to a lion and all his brain to a scarecrow. He looked over to his father with pleading eyes; "Please? I'm really hungry!" He pleaded, hand still resting on the female's shoulder.

Kol 's eyes widened slowly as he asked his dad while keeping his emerald's fixed on her. She tried to calculate how much she had on her with the crumpled singles and loose change in her pocket, unsure she could handle the embarrassment if she didn't have enough to buy food. Her entire frame was tense as his hand didn't leave her shoulder. Her heart thumped unevenly for a moment.

Paul Gomes laid his head back on the cold concrete wall. He stared up at the ceiling. Suddenly footsteps were heard nearing the three in the waiting room and a sound of a clipboard snapping. Paul quickly sat back up on his seat and squinted his eyes around and saw the nurse staring at them. *Billy Gomes*, the npc asked aloud. Paul waved his hand at her and answered, "Yup". She walked closer and handed a prescription with 5 valiums. *Will he need to be seen as well* she asked looking over the group. At that moment billy asked to go out to eat. Paul looked over to him and then the other girl at the end. He slightly smirked and then shook his head as he looked to the npc, "I am thinking the ice did the trick". The npc began to walk away again now. "Here...", he began to say as he fiddled in his coat pocket for 20 bucks. "...I will meet you two there in a few minutes. I have something to take care of". He offered a smile now.

Billy Gomes took the money and looked at his father for a moment, shaking his head; "I'll come with you." He didn't trust his dad. Not that he wasn't trust worthy, but he was that type of guy to do everything alone. And that upset Billy. He stood, adjusting his pants as he smiled to the two.

Kol sat awkwardly, unsure what to do with herself now... She squirmed uncomfortably avoiding them for a moment. After a long, silent pause she rose quickly and made her way outside, kicking herself for not doing so earlier. It wasn't til she was out the doors she realized she still had his jacket but there was no way she was going back.

Paul Gomes gave out an audible laugh and quickly cleared his throat. He stood up and then dug his hands into his coat pockets. "Let's get something to eat first", he admitted after pondering for a bit. The rain outside was heard again now along with clashing thunder. Paul sighed as he realized this. He noticed the other girl making a quick exit as well and he raised his eyebrows in confusion. "Let's go", he said now as he headed for the doors.

Billy Gomes rushed back and grabbed his bag before following his father quickly.

Paul Gomes quickly ran to the daily grind which was the closest place he could think of in this pouring rain. He tried to run close to billy to shield him from getting wet as well but he wanted to make it quick. finally as he stepped in the grind he just saw a female seated and the place once again pretty empty. Business was slow today he thought. "What do you want to eat?", he asked as he turned around to face billy.

Billy Gomes shrugged; "A browniiieee." He spoke childishly, taking off his hat to scratch the top of his head, before placing the hat back; "Where are we going?" He asked, glancing at the female for a moment, before back to his father.

Charlice Darwin glances up at the two men running in, tilting her chin in slight interest. She then looks over at the NPC barista behind the counter, making sure she isn't slacking off again and is ready to take the order.

Paul Gomes chuckled as he turned around to the counter. The NPC barista looked up at him for a second and then resumed reading some magazine she had. Looked like playboy but he could have been wrong and wasn't going to ask her. "Hey Billy, come here", he said glancing over at billy and then at the barista. His coat was wet and the droplets were making their way to the ground around him.

Billy Gomes sighs, walking over to his father, a bit shyly, he looked so pathetic compared to him; "Brownie." He repeated, crossing his arms weakly over his stomach as his emerald eyes looked to the ground.

Charlice Darwin clears her throat loudly to get the baristas attention, then glances at the customers, hoping she gets the hint, then takes a sip from her mocha as she watches.

Paul Gomes made a ding ding noise imagining there was a service bell nearby the cash register. This irritated the clerk who responded *Do you know how many people do that with me standing around here?*. He tilted his head at her and shrugged answering, "No". She scowled *Well your not the first*. She turned around and began getting the brownie out of the case. It looked stale but he could have been wrong. "Make sure my son gets a fresh piece", he said to her uncaring of her mood. She rolled her eyes and picked another piece. He looked over at billy and grinned. "Get somethin to drink".

Billy Gomes looked up at his dad. Fuck he was so bold. It was almost embarrassing. But Billy brushed it off, swallowing back a moment; "Can I just have a water?" He hated coffee, it made him sick to his stomach. He reached into his pocket to take his wallet from his pants, opening it to take out a few bucks; "You can get something, ya'know." He spoke to his father, eyes remaining on his wallet that had the original Zelda etched onto it.

Charlice Darwin makes a note to have a little talk with the barista in private later. She watches the dynamic between the older and younger man with some interest as she casually sips her drink, tapping her foot to the beat playing in her head.

Paul Gomes leaned over at the magazine on the counter and shook his head. His curiosity was confirmed. She was reading playboy. He laughed to himself and walked to the register. "Can we get two bottled waters please?", he asked her cynically. She reached over to the fridge nearby and picked them out placing them on the counter. *Will that be all?* she asked with a tone that pretty much told you she was irritated. Paul squinted his eyes at her and nodded, "Yeah that will be all". He glanced back at billy who was pulling out money which Paul didn't understand since he had already taken the 20 earlier in the hospital lobby. "Just use the twenty", Paul said to billy. Something was felt almost wanting to slide down his back leg. He quickly moved his hand to cover his leg and cleared his throat nervously.

Billy Gomes paused. Oh yeah. He slipped his wallet away and took the twenty from his front pocket, pushing it towards the girl, offering a warm smile. He then looked to his dad, eying his father's hand; "You alright?" He asked, eyes narrowing on his father for a moment as he took the bottles and the brownie into his hands.

Charlice Darwin looks back down at the table, drumming her fingers lightly on it's surface as she sips.

Paul Gomes quickly pushed the gun up to his waist belt again. He had hoped billy wouldn't see him make the quick move as he had grabbed the brownie and waters. "Let's go sit down", Paul said changing the subject and heading to the chairs.

Billy Gomes looked at his dad awkwardly; "Copin' a feel of yourself?" He said with a laugh, going to sit down, offering the water to his father, before sitting down, eating at his brownie quickly, making a long, awkward moaning noise. He loved chocolate.

[11:05] Charlice Darwin walks behind the counter and begins talking quietly but sternly to the barista. Something about "Courtesy" and "attentiveness". When she is finished she will walk to the door, pause with a slight cringe and then dash out through the rain toward home.

Paul Gomes laughed as billy said that. "Hell no", he answered back rolling his eyes jokingly. He quickly made himself comfortable on the plush chair near the stack of newspapers. He accepted the bottled water from his son and opened it taking a long gulp. He laughed as billy took the brownie and ate it. "His attention being caught by the npc barista who was being lectured Paul guessed. "This used to be the hot spot for battles." Paul nudged his head at the door. "Outside the door too", he rolled his eyes.

Billy Gomes smirked; "It's where all my fuckin' battles happen it seems." He nommed idly on the brownie, clearly in ecstacy at the task. Chocolate was his drug. It relaxed all of him. He closed his eyes, leaning back; "So, dad. Where do we have to go to?"

Paul Gomes made a mental note of this as billy told him. "Well I am going to pick up your prescription and then check on something I left back near Lou's when I worked here". He wasn't sure if that made any sense but he hoped it did.

Kolton Arcana scrambled into the Daily Grind to avoid the rain as best he could. Kolt lifted his hand up and brushed his fingers through his damp hair, "God dammit..." he muttered before looking over at Khloe. "Tol' ya we shoulda stay'd inside."

Billy Gomes popped the rest of his brownie in his mouth, glancing at the two coming in a moment. He chewed slowly at his brownie, taking a nice drink of his water before he looked back to his father, careful to keep an eye on the boy with the weapon; "Can I come?" He asked his father.

Khloe Arcana ducked into the Grind. She cursed silently, looking around. Rain soaked her skin and hair, sticking the flaxen tendrils to her face and back "Ugh... wrong time to wear a dress.." She muttered towards her brother. Goosebumps raising on the exposed portions of her flesh. "Yeah.. you were right. Want a mocha at least?" She asked with a small grin. Shifting her gaze towards her bandage, two hundred and fifteen stitches later. "Fricking Jace.. "

Kolton Arcana nodded his head, eyes shifting down to his sister's bandage. "Ya know, didn't 'e tell ya 'ta try 'n keep 'dat dry?" He'd walk forward towards the counter, "I jus' wanna, I dunno, one of 'dem things I got you long time ago... a fruit 'n somethin'."

Paul Gomes nodded at Billy answering, "Of course you can come". His attention turned to the two walking in the grind. He wasn't interested in them so he looked back over at billy and caught a glimpse of outside noticing it had stopped raining. Let's get moving before it starts up again". He grabbed his waist belt to make sure the gun wouldn't fall out again as he stood. His back comfortably stretching now letting loose the nicks he felt in his back.

Khloe Arcana laughed and looked to the left. Typical out of place man with underage boy. She raised a brow, the kid was ok looking, not really Khloe's type. He seemed a little off. The man .. definitely not a concern to Khloe. She didn't get a good vibe from him, to much like their dad. Emerald eyes stared at him, shooting daggers, before she pulled her gaze away "Smoothie.. " She offered and stepped up to the counter. Her bandaged arm was placed on the screwdriver, hanging out of her dress pocket "I hate seeing new people in this town. " she muttered towards Kolt "Just keeps going to hell.."

Billy Gomes pushed himself up, brushing his hair back behind his ears; "Yeah." He didn't wait to see if Paul was going to follow. He didn't like the two kids, especially the boy. He turned and swooped out of the Daily Grind, pausing to wait until he heard footsteps.

Paul Gomes smiled at billy and nodded as he walked behind him. He would make sure to ask some friends about these two he hadn't met before. "First let's head to Lou's.

Billy Gomes shoves his hands into his pockets; "Dad. Think I should get a girlfriend?" He asked, out of the blue; "Just to... look normal?"

Paul Gomes clears his throat and looks over his shoulder. "I don't like that kid in there. Don't ask me why but if he comes around you give me a call." His face now clearly showing him being upset. He shook his head and looked down at the ground now scanning around. "If you want to get a girlfriend, go ahead", he said now just being a hothead and not thinking much about it until later when he would probably regret it.

Billy Gomes scowling; "Dad!" He moved up to him. He didn't know what was going on, but he hated when his father didn't pay attention; "What's wrong with you?!" He looked around then; "They fuck are we doing here, anyways?" He started to get unsure, sliding his fingers into his pocket to run his fingers along his razor blades.

Paul Gomes crouched down. The sides of his leather coat brushing against his jeans. He slid his hands around the grate that was on the ground and sighed. He reassured his son he was listening by nodding and slightly smiling, "I *am* listening to you son." Paul paused a moment and rubbed his forehead as he exhaled, "If you want to get a girlfriend then all I can do is support you". He pulled up his shades to the top of his head and looked straight into billy's eyes with his dark blue eyes. The expression was neutral but caring. "Kay?".

Billy Gomes paused and just looked away. He as silent now, hugging his stomach as he looked around to ensure they were alone. He toyed idly with the razors in his pocket.

Paul Gomes tried to nudge the grate as best he could but nothing budged. Again but now he dug his boots into the ground for more leverage. Out popped the grate slowly. It slid against the sides of the opening leaving it open enough to put two hands through. He squinted his eyes completely unaware of his surroundings. Lost in the moment. "Okay...", he muttered under his breath. Slowly he took out a small case. It was still latched close as he carefully removed it.

Billy Gomes watched his father for a long moment. The fuck was he doing? He blew it off, looking up to watch the other passing on the street, keeping a nice eye on them.

Malicious Frakture rubbed her back, eyes closing. She felt a sharp pain race through her stomach. It caused her to bend over and catch her breath for a moment "Hold on Boss.." She whispered "I know.. I know.." jerking the poor dog back a little ways. "Stop boy.."

Paul Gomes stood up and now looked around. Billy must have been wondering what he was doing but he would explain after. "Okay. Take this and wait for me to get the van." He handed the briefcase to billy and tilted his head.

Billy Gomes blinks. Van? He suddenly got nervous, but he nodded. He took the Briefcase and held it tightly, as he felt the rain beginning to hit him. Then it'd just stop. He'd shrug it off; "Hurry." He spoke to his father, eying the female with the dog a moment.

Malicious Frakture dropped to her knees, holding her stomach. She breathed out slowly, pulling the dog back "Stop Boss, calm down.." The rain began to fall and it was soaking Mali's hair and clothing. She groaned, shaking her head. The pain seemed to be subsiding and Mali struggled to get back to her feet "god.. damn it." she muttered taking her phone out. She dialed Stu's number, looking for a response. "Stu?" She breathed.

Paul Gomes got in the van out back form Lou's and reversed around front. He slowly backed it into the lot near billy. He rolled down the window and looked about it to the back waving at billy, "Put it in the back and let's go drop this off". His tone just casual and business like.

Billy Gomes eyed the female that fell to the ground. He swallowed, his instincts telling him to help her yet he listened to his father. He opened the back, set the suitcase in and closed it securely, before sliding into the van, swallowing, nervously; "D-Don't hit the girl." He pleaded to his father.

Paul Gomes noticed the girl on her knees. He sighed and bit his lower lip. She looked like she was in labour and wanted to help. "Get in . I'll drive you to the hospital lady", he yelled out the window through the rain. He felt bad now. He looked over at billy and nudged his head, "Help her in".

Grace Lokaria moves into the dim shelter of the edge of the building, out of the rain, her gaze falling lazily on the van that had pulled up. Quite unusual outside Lou's. She leans against the wall, hands behind her, running over the brickwork as she watches the scene casually.

Malicious Frakture groaned softly when he picked up "Uh.. I .. am in a lot pain. I don't know what is wrong." She sounded a bit afraid, but still holding it together. "I was walking Boss in the city and.. i started to have this major back pain. It is getting worse." She breathed out feeling ok for the moment, the pains coming about every 10 minutes. That was a good thing the farther apart they were the better. She was on her knees by Lou's still trying to get to her feet. It wasn't easy when you had a planet sized bulge in front of you and a little mongrel pulling on his leash. Glancing up, she saw the van, it was dangerously close. The man coming over to offer her help. Little did he know about her fears of strange men. Spending five weeks in a coma, cause of a man abducting her. "N-No.. stay back. I got it.." She said softly. Boss began to growl, lunging towards the man "It's ok.. really... I am good, my husband is on the phone."

Billy Gomes watched the female deny help, he rolled her eyes, irritation kicking in; "Just go, dad." He spoke quickly, clearly distracted.

Paul Gomes figured since he was in an unmarked white van and tinted windows people would think it was up to no good when really he meant the best. Bad place at the bad time He guessed. The rain was pouring down now and hitting the van roof hard. Sounded like falling waterfalls everywhere. He always loved rain as a kid and seeing it now was no different. Paul looked over at Billy and sighed, "I understand where she is coming from". His voice being heard out the van window to those nearby. He then slowly drove off.

Malicious Frakture screamed as the van nearly hits her, as it drives away "what the fuck you idiot!!" She screamed shaking her hand in frustration. She moved towards the alleyways, making her way towards the new Gein. She had a craving for eggrolls and sweet and sour sauce "on my way to Tre's place. I need food.." She said as if there was nothing wrong at all. She wasn't in pain now and figured it was all in her mind "I want an eggroll baby!"

Billy Gomes didn't enjoy the bump ass ride, but didn't question it either, He folded his hands in his lap, looking outside the window, waiting for the MIB to come out or something. He had this gut feeling something would go wrong; "Where are we going, Dad?" He'd ask nervously.

Zero/jak: Jumps onto the van and starts stamping on the roof "Hello anyone in there" he starts to laugh "Open the door its raining out here" he chuckled..

Paul Gomes hated driving this blasted van but it was the only thing to carry heavy stuff. He looked over at Billy and frowned, "Holy shit!". Two loud thumps heard on the roof of the van. "Grab the bat on the side door and hold it", he said not waiting for an answer.

Ryan Dawson giggles and clambers up onto the van after Jak, stomping about on top of it, squeaking a bit as the slippery roof almost made him fall off... "Yeah... what he said?"

Billy Gomes paused, smirking; "Drive." He spoke, darkly; "Hit the gas now. Send them flying." He reached back to take the bat, just in case.

Zero/jak Still stamping he takes out his knife and kneels down and starts carving on the roof "Hey asshole im taking to you what are you midget hiding in here or maybe a couple dumb criminals who can't tell there ass from the elbow" he snarled "Hello faggots anyone in there"

Paul Gomes would have bothered to open the van window but figured he would get wet and that was a definite no. "Yeah right....", he began to say but stopped suddenly when whoever it was on the roof started to carve up his van. Now he wouldn't normally care but he had a new paint job and someone fucking it up was not good. "Oh mother fucker of a dog fucker", he yelled and took his bat out. He gripped the steering wheel and blasted the radio to the song *highway to hell*. His foot came crashing down on the gas pedal as he took off. His heart racing with adrenaline.

Ryan Dawson took out his little knifey aswell, grinning at Jak, barely able to stay on the slippery van as it moved... and then it suddenly sped up, he squeals and flails about, falling backwards, his back slamming into the roof of the van, grabbing at Jak, trying to cling onto him so he didnt fall off the fast moving vehicle. "Ah SHIT! ...Don't let go!" He yelled, whining a little... hoping Jaks knife embedded in the top of the van could support the weight of two people.

Zero/jak Feeling the van start to move and hearing the mans voice yell at them he was still kneeling "Oh shit this isnt gonna end good and there is know im playing rag doll on the floor" sticking his knife into the roof of the van a little deeper so the tip was more then likely poking through the roof "Hey asshole slow the fuck down otherwise imma go Jakie chan on your assess and thats a promise" he snarled feeling as if the water would soak his clothes he wasnt happy...

Billy Gomes made a gentle gasping noise as his father actually hit the van. Fuck, fuck.. Thoughts of the idiots on top actually dying filled his head. His hold on the bat only tightened as he trembled awkwardly; "D-Dad.." He whispered, turning as he heard the muffling from outside; "Take a turn. Swerve!" He wanted to boy's off, not exactly for his safety, but for their's.

Paul Gomes looked at his rear view mirror to see any aftermath but didn't notice anyone on the pavement behind them. He slammed on his steering wheel but he had to admit that this was getting his heart pumping and he loved the rush. He looked over at Billy and shook his head frantically and with a high pitched tone of the rush, "Damn it. I was trying to avoid attention." He would turn a left around the gein's corner and yell, "You fucked up my paint job biatches!". He totally forgot he was meant to be the older one but he was having too much fun. With the quick turn around the corner he had hoped to throw them off form the force.

Zero/jak: Gripping on to his knife he tried to hold on feeling his knife rattle as if it was coming loose he held tighter and dragged it across the roof to the point it came loose he felt his body slip from the roof "Ah shit here it comes " hitting the road with a large bump he rolled hoping to break his fall he wasn't sure if anything was broken but now he was mad laying on the floor next to ryan he shook him "Hey man you ok come on we gotta go after them fuckers" he snarled lifting up his mask and spitting out some blood

Ryan Dawson screams a little and starts giggling uncontrollably, clinging to his friend "Weeeeeee!" He yells, grinning wide, until he suddenly slipped off the back of the roof as Jak lost his grip, and hit the ground with a yelp, rolling head over heels, before tumbling onto his side, in an awkward position beside Jak, groaning in pain "Aaahh... fuck..." He hissed, rubbing his neck.

Billy Gomes watched his mirror, just before seeing the boys fly off, catching just a glimpse of them hitting the ground. Billy suddenly covered his face, Emerald eyes tightening closed. He didn't say anything. Just felt the car moving and navigating through the city.

Paul Gomes began to get worried now that he had killed them or something. "Fudge....", he muttered as he panted from worry now and the adrenaline rush. He glanced over at Billy and cursed under his breath. He really didn't want to do this in front of him and watching the silence emanate from billy was not comforting. It was just one of those slow motion moments you wish you could stop. Your just forced to watch on however. "Okay we can't just leave them there", he said aloud. His driving now coming to a slower and steadier drive. Any quicker and he would have driven through buildings. His hand still gripped on to his bat.

Zero/jak: Slowly climbing to his feet he shakes it off his leg hurting but that was ok he could deal with it he cracked his knuckles and slowly brushed him self off cold wet and in pain really ticked jak off he took out his knife and wanted to follow the van but wanted to make sure Ryan was ok so he yelled out "HELP PLEASE SOMEONE " he slapped Ryans face a little "Dude you ok?" he mumbled..

Ryan Dawson blinks and stares blankly up at Jak, before grinning "I wanna go again!" He yells, giggling and groaned a little as he got to his feet, blinking as he stared at his left arm... it was all limp and dangley... and... his shoulder seemed all out of place "Oh... well will ya look at that..." He smirks a little and swings his shoulders about, making the dangley dislocated arm flop about... how amusing...

Billy Gomes shook his head; "D-Dad.." he muttered, clearly through tears. He'd never seen something like this. It was happening so fast. Flashes of the scene and memories filled Billy's mind; "Dad. You have to k-keep goin!" He watched his rear view mirror now, tears fluttering down his cheeks; "Keep going! Let's get this the fuck over with..." He didn't know where they were going. And he didn't care. He just wanted it all to stop.

Paul Gomes bit the heck out of his lower lip with all of this going on. As the two stood up he noticed one of them from earlier in front of the grind. He squinted his eyes but didn't make out completely as he wanted to since he was already getting farther and farther away. Billy began to cry now and Paul was heart struck but this was no time for compassion. The van was unmarked and the windows were tinted so nobody could have seen who was inside. He hoped this was the best defense they had. The license plate was in partial view now but didn't know if it would be viewed very well. "Okay..", he began as he would press the gas pedal more now. "..we are going".

Zero/jak: Sighs slapping ryan round the back of the head he limps over to the van and starts punching it with his right fist even though his knife was in that hand he was on the drivers side of the van and he wasn't happy he was hoping the guy would get out and say sorry but that was highly unlikely he took in a deep breath and waited at the drivers door tapping on the window he didn't say anything he kept his mouth shut his eyes narrowed and his ski mask on now he was really mad and its unlike jak to not make a joke or something ...

Ryan Dawson looks up and shrugs. He grabs hold of his left arm and shoves it hard, back into its socket with a sickening CRACK noise. He winced a little before giggling, swinging his left arm around, testing to see if it was okay, before running after Jak "Hey! Wait! Ya cant bloody catch em like that ya silly goose!"

Billy Gomes remained silent. As the sight disappeared from his mirror he covered his eyes and shoved his head into his knees. Becoming silent as his father drove.

Paul Gomes pressed on the gas so heavily but he didn't care. Just wanted to get out of there. Those kids caused this and now they would be looked upon as the bad guys. Turning the van he forgot that high speeds and quick turns were bad ideas. The tires were heard screeching outside. The flash of lightning outside the windows lighting everything up. Paul's heart sank into his stomach and his throat became dryer than sand in the desert. "Shit!....", he yelled as he knew he couldn't have saved them as the van was on it's side already. He quickly went into defense mode and held onto Billy's chest as best he could to prevent him from getting hurt. Paul also forgot his seatbelt was on so twisting his own leg and breaking it was just what happened.

Billy Gomes vision returned only when the car came to a screeching stop. Parts of the scene flashing in his mind, making him flustered and have faint echoed of cries. He couldn't manage an actual scream. He felt his father's hands against him, but it wasn't comforting anymore. The windows clearly shattered from the impact, causing faint cuts on Billy's body, who was laying where the windshield use to be. Him not having his seatbelt on sent him flying around with a rag doll. the only thing holding him still was his father. Billy, simply decided not to move now. Everything ached, he noticed his boots and jeans were torn, glass forced up into him. He couldn't feel anything. No pain, nothing. Shock and adrenaline rushing along all of his body. Tears began to fill his eyes as he looked to his father, trying to call out his name with no prevail. Billy's back was also bleeding, his skateboard snapping against the impact when he hit the ground.

Kayden Flux runs over to the overturned vehicle and kneels down to look into the window's of the van to see two figures,"Hey...shit are you alright?"she looked for signs of consciousness and reached for her radio,"Requesting a Fire Medic to the front of the Titty Twister for two injured males, vehicular accident."she put the radio back on her belt and ducked down again to look into the window thankful for her thick leather gloves as she began tugging at the safety glass to clear it out of the way."Speak to me if you guys are conscious."she noticed the younger one of the two hanging out of the windshield area but didn't really want to move him just as long as there was no other dangers..cars usually didn't explode on impact like the movies anyway.

Paul Gomes felt a sharp pain along the back of his left leg that came to his spine. The pain was so sharp that he lost his vision for a few seconds. A sensation of warmness slowly made it's way down his face. His only thought was that he was bleeding. His heart ached so much he wanted to cry. Billy's face flashed before his eyes as he tried to make it out. He lost his grip of billy. He remembered how many times he hated losing control and how it bothered him. Now it ate away at him. His breathing became heavier now. The van had made it's final stop on it's top. Quickly but then slowing it's way as it hit the building. The impact just crushing his collarbone against the passenger door handle. Tears poured down Paul's face. The one person he had by his side that he was going to share his life with seemed like it would be no more. Pieces of glass had struck his face and cut embedded themselves in his throat with one big piece sticking out. His left arm went numb. "I..l..o..v...e....y..o......", were the last words he

Paul Gomes voice now gargled in some blood. He didn't want to die at this moment.

Billy Gomes body started to jerk around, his tears flushing down. He heard the woman's voice, he cried out, his voice was trembling, broken and fearful; "Y-You gotta. gotta help my dad!" He cried out as he reached to touch his father's cheek, he tried to move, a vivid noise was heard, his jeans tearing as skin ripped at the glass, he cried out, the pain flushing back into him as he started coughing, blood rushing out of his throat. He wanted it all to stop. Everything hurt... He shook his head, crying out through the blood; "Help him!" He screamed towards the girl. His vision was blurring more and more. His father's words making it worse. He was going to die. He was going to die next to his father.

Paul Gomes looked around them seeing blood spots here and there and he was scared now. This was not how he wanted it to go. That moment of slow motion came again. He thought he was already dead. Flashing lights were seen everywhere. Distant sounds of sirens wailing. Paul coughed out as he tried to drag himself over to billy to hold him. He felt he was saying his goodbye. "L...e...t...g.....o...", he tried to muster out of is mouth with whatever strength he had left. He remembered the case in the back but wasn't ken on retrieving it. He would try to push billy out of whatever door was open. The collision had come to a stop but the pain was about to begin. If he wasn't careful the glass shard in his neck would have came out and he would bleed to death.

Billy Gomes very carefully cuddled with what he could of his father, he was crying horridly, blood dribbling out of his mouth and beginning to his nose. His pain was flaring through everything. He wanted to die. He wanted to die in his father's arms. As his father tried to push him, he'd just clutch tighter; "D-d... don't let...let me go!" He cried out. Suddenly, the sirens were so close. The paramedics noticed Billy was unstrapped and could easily be pulled from the broken window. They shattered the sharp glass through and through as they reached in, inspecting Billy. Asking if he was alright. They slowly and carefully attempted to pull the boy out. Asking him to release his father. Which he refused and refused to do... Just until his eyes suddenly rolled back and his body fell limp. They pulled the boy's body out quickly, carefully tearing his restricting pants and slipping his shoes off. They cut at the leather on his back, pulling the bag from it. They couldn't do much more now, just take out small glasses.

Paul Gomes didn't want to let go of his son. He loved him so much. He couldn't talk anymore as the effort was wasted. Hearing the paramedics near now a flicker of hope sparked in his heart. He had no control over this situation. The feeling of loneliness and abandonment filled Paul so much he cried more. He tried to embrace his son as best he could but the paramedics had already pulled him away. No! He thought now. Paul seen billy fall limp. Oh no. He tried to reach for him with his able arm but the paramedic held him back as they tried to cut off the seatbelt form Paul. Paul heard a sawing noise near him and thought they were cutting off his leg or something. Finally after cutting it off the npc gently grabbed him out of the window since it was already shattered glass. Paul tried to fight back but it was too late. Everything blacked out and became blank.

Meena lets out a small muffled cry when she realizes there are two people in the tangled mess of body on the sidewalk, panic welling through her as she thought of the possibility of one of them being her own brother. She thrust the wrinkled Polaroid out to the woman and asked in a very small voice "Do .. either of them look like this?"

Delphine Millet drives up in the bus, hopping the curb and pulling it up closer. She climbs out and surveys the van wreckage while reaching for her medical bag. Cursing under her breath at the carnage, she runs over to the van and starts doing a quick check to see if both men are alive and which injuries are most severe.

Billy Gomes rested out cold on the shattered remainders of the windshield. His hat almost slipping off his head, exposing his sliced and bruised face to the window, his hand was limb against his father's chest. He was breathing, but very faintly. His heartbeat slowly by the moment as his leg wounds dribbled blood into the puddle already at his feet. His skateboard still tearing into his back.

Paul Gomes was knocked out lying outside the driver window with his seatbelt torn off. Blood covered his throat as a large jagged piece of glass protruded from his neck. His left leg was broken and his collarbone was also broken. The lower back was sprained but not broken. Billy's hand was laying on Paul's chest. His breathing was becoming shallower.

Delphine Millet curses since handling this situation is going to be tricky. Thankfully she had a handy dandy NPC probie with her. Together she and the probie get the gurney out and backboards and then started working their way delicately into the vehicle. Seeing the large piece of glass in the man's neck she curses and begins winding a pressure bandage around it, leaving the glass for now so that he doesn't bleed out. Carefully she and the probie get him onto a backboard. She sorts out an IV, administering medication for pain and antibiotics because many of the wounds would be unclean. She also starts him on oxygen while the probie gets him moved into the ambulance.

Delphine Millet then gets started on the younger of the two, using the NPC probie's help to start bandaging his leg wounds to stimmy the flow of blood while getting him onto a backboard as well once she's gotten the skateboard out of the way. Once he was on the backboard she started tending to his face, bandaging anything that looked severe and getting him stable. Again an IV was started with pain medication and antibiotics, starting oxygen to help his breathing. Right now there wasn't much she could do aside from stabilize the two of them and get them into the hands of Hathian's skilled doctors and surgeons as quickly as possible. Once the IV and mask were in place she and the probie worked to fit the second gurney into the ambulance. It was not an easy fit, but she didn't have the luxury of a backup bus.

Delphine Millet gets the bus pulled in behind the other and hops out, working quickly with her oh so efficient NPC probie to get the gurneys out of the bus and then wheeling them into the emergency rooms. She calls out to alert any medical staff there that they have arrived and leaves the probie behind with all the details about what happened. Good probie. Sit. Stay.

Billy Gomes medical staff rushed him in. One, two, three, they placed him on the bed. He was still extremely deep in his state. Yet, it seemed the doctors had other worried on their hands. They tore his boots and cut at his pants. Exposing the quickly bandaged legs. Then undid the already bitch red bandages and carefully searched through the wounds to expose and take what they could of the glass out.

Billy Gomes was already on tight powered drugs, the IV shifting in to give him what blood he did lose from the crash. The doctors bandaged the boy up rather tight around his legs, ensuring the blood would slowly stop. Then inspected his body again, not taking the time to clean out his arm wounds, wrapping them as well in secure bonds.

Paul Gomes was dreaming now about what had happened earlier in the day. They were more like nightmares. Voices were heard but he only heard them in his nightmare. Distant echoes. He faded in now watching as he was wheeled into a concrete room. Everything around him was lit up and the hospital smell was seeping through his nose. His mouth felt numb. He faded back out again now. The medical staff quickly doing their routine work. His son in the other room although he didn't know it. His jacket was torn off and his shirt was cut open as they put the EKG pads on his chest. The oxygen mast was planted firmly around Paul's mouth. The iv stand was replenished now as a new bag was placed in the holder and administered into Paul's vein. They performed surgery on his left leg after ripping off his boots and cutting off the pant cuffs. The sudden jolt of pain felt. His eyes quickly opening and then shutting down. They administered the anesthesia and knocked him out. Paul opened his eyes again and looked to his left and then--

Billy Gomes eyes faltered as he was turned on his side, the doctors muttered about how to treat the wound. Tweezers and other small tipped items were used to take the wood and glass from Billy's back, having to constant dab it due to some of the glasses that were logged into his back. After a while of this they patched him up all nice and good. They spoke about how truly close it was and what would have to happen if Billy didn't come too in the next few days. Then they started to say how tragic it was to have a father and son in there. If one died and the other didn't? Or one had to decide if the other's plug was pulled. It was heart breaking to say the least.
