Dearest, I have returned to Hathian. As I imagine this being read to you, I have to wonder if you know that I am gone... or even who I am. Leaving you behind was the hardest decision I ever had to make; but in my heart of hearts, I have to believe that man I married would not wish for me to pine by his side, but to carry on the best way I can and try to find Sammi and be a mother to her once more. It is my place in life, I believe, to be a light in the darkness of this world... I tried so hard to be that beacon for you and there were times I would have sworn that I had succeeded. I am so sorry I failed you baby. I am so sorry I had to go. I will never forget the man I believe you truly are, nor will I ever stop loving him. If ever he should find his way back to me... I will be waiting. Until we meet again, I will be missing you.
