Hey everyone! I new to Rp-ing in Crack Den though not RP-ing in general. Been in hiatus in SL for a long time, so my skills might be a little rusty. I'm not really shy, but I tend to keep to myself and be quiet. Please do hit me an IM if you're interested to RP. I'd be more than welcome to play with you.

Anyway, here's my character's profile (can be seen in in-world picks too):

BIO

Name: Leon de Valle
Age: 28
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue
Blood type: AB+
Height: 6'3
Weight: 185 lbs
Sexuality: Straight
Occupation: Clerk at Poison Apple (lots of gang-member customers talk while waiting. The tatoo parlor is a very useful place to gather underground info)

Personality: Generally, a charmer, not a brooder; too devil-may-care and reckless to be forlorn; with strangers, he's polite, but cool and detached; with friends, he's easy-going and happy-go-lucky

Physique: Lean and agile, like that of a sprinter's/traceur's

Abilities: All the ways of thievery from pickpocketing to big-time heist; cloak-and-dagger skills, e.g., espionage and infiltration; running and parkour

Weapon: Just a pair of Colt Elites

Normal appearance:
Casual. Often, he looks more like a preppy than a gangster, which serves him well. It doesn't arise suspicion and therefore makes gathering information less troublesome.

Gangster appearance:
As with the other members, he wears black clothes and a mask during causing-trouble mode.

HISTORY
Growing up raised by his ailing grandmother, Leon had little time for friends and school. He was constantly working to pay for his grandma's medications and treatment, and as a consequence, the streets became his home. The place was a jungle, and animals abound just about everywhere. Instead of falling prey to them, however, the boy took the place as a training ground instead. It was a dog-eat-dog world, but he didn't have much choice. Morality became a non-issue when it was the life of the person dearest to him on the line.

At first, it was just small-time pickpocketing. Then it turned to mugging. Then as his grandmother became more and more sick, Leon progressed to invading homes and robberies. He became an expert in judging which houses and apartments to invade. He became meticulous too in gathering information, such as what time the home owners will be back, or is there a pet in the house, or are there any security cameras and where are they located, or what time will be the cops patrolling in the area.

He also developed a sort of sixth sense to know when anyone's coming back, in case plans go awry as in the case of home owners returning early or nosy neighbors checking the place. There have been plenty of close calls, but so far he hasn't been caught yet. He was sly as he was cunning, and he was knowledgeable of the fact that quick wit always trumps over nimble fingers and an agile body. In spite of that philosophy, though, he's quite excellent in running and parkour, something not very surprising considering that he had lived on the streets his whole life.

It was a tough neighborhood, and Leon had realized in his early years that he has to grow a thick hide if he has to survive. And he did. He became distant and cold and ruthless, and yet if he could have sold his soul to save that old lady who took him in and cared for him when his parents were none to be found, Leon would have been willing.

There are just some things, however, that are out of your reach, and this was one of those times. One night, despite his determination to keep her alive, Leon's grandmother just quietly passed away. By that time, the hospital bill had gone far too high for the boy to cough up money. There was nothing else left valuable to sell.

So, turning to the biggest loanshark and drug boss in town, he asked for help.

He wasn't refused.

Everything was paid up the next day, but Leon had damned himself. And he was only 16 at that time.

Interestingly, however, Leon didn't feel at all alarmed by the turn of events. It was thrilling and exciting, but he felt like he finally belonged. He was welcomed and became part of the “team.” And maybe it was because of his age (he was the youngest) or he was new to it, but he was impressionable and naïve of the gravity and seriousness of the situation. Leon, who had not felt the joys of knowing his family, felt as if the “team” was his very own. He was loyal to a fault, and much too obedient for his own good. The big bosses were his “mentors,” and to him, they couldn't do wrong. He looked up to them like a son to his father. And so with each torture, each murder, each rape to rival gang members or ordinary citizens...they were just all fun and games to him.
