Since I’m fairly re-established in Crack Den now, I thought I would throw in a brief introduction and some roleplay hooks! I was pretty involved in Hathian a few years back, circa 2009, before venturing off into other genres. Now I’m back with a vengeance, updated and refreshed for a new era.

Lauri is a frisky, feisty, hedonistic stoner from the UK that hit a dead end in Hathian, bound out of New Orleans, having busked her way to Louisiana as a singer, dancer and DJ. Warm, sensual and easy going, she worked part time at the old head shop on Bourbon Street before it closed down, then became a hooker to make ends meet. A naturally talented dancer, she finally got a steady job as a stripper at the Titty Twister while she kept the music thing going by DJing part time at WKRK.

There’s plenty of ways to weave Lauri into your stories and projects:

Adult Entertainment
Lauri’s primary income so far has been as a hooker, earning over a thousand dollars a week (seriously, I’ve been counting the IC payments!), and she’s often found at the Titty Twister or around the red light district. That line of work can be pretty rough, though, so she’s seeking to make a break into modelling and porn to get legit with it. If you need someone with appetite and experience, Lauri could be your girl.

Drug Culture
A professional waster, Lauri’s invariably off her tree on hash pretty much all the time, and high as a kite on ecstasy for the weekend party scene. It’s a hippie girl thing, from which all this free love and open relationship jazz stems. Fun-loving hedonism is what it’s all about. Want to shift or sell some product? Lauri might well be up for it. Just want to bliss out in a Bohemian haze sometime? Give her a call!

Music Business
Part time work at Rader Records keeps Lauri abreast of what’s trending in the underground techno scene, and she plays semi-regular live sessions at WKRK (these are, of the moment, random events where I grab the Crack Den’s music stream for a couple of hours of live mixed performances just for fun; I’ve been a DJ in RL and in SL for quite a while, off and on). Regular club work is where she’d like to take this, and she’d totally be up for producing or even joining a band, singing or playing keyboards. Got an event or an idea for an electronic pop band?
