siddalee-residentsaidSidda sighs as she hears the Nanny laughing and having a good time with her father's 'other kids'. She scowls at her bedroom door, and then looks down at her pet cat 'FatBoy.' Reaching down to softly scratch at the top of the cat's head. " We'll sneak some snacks later." She patted the cat and sat up straight, pulling the TARDIS Blue journal towards her. She sighs and then begins to write.. (note: punctuation and spelling would be horrible in some places ) OKay, so I know diaries are dumb, so this isn't a Diary, its a Journal. BUT ITS STILL PRIVATE. So Dad, if you found this, close it and don't read anything. If Toni or Fred or the evil nanny is reading this. PUT. IT. DOWN NOW. * She pauses for a moment, frowning as she thought about what to write about, and decided to start with the beginning* I miss my mom and I miss Tommy.. he was the best brother ever. I remember thinking that it was taking them a long time for them to get all the stuff for my party, and that I was getting hungry. Since my Step father Roger wasn't home, I went to the kitchen to make myself a sammich, still wondering why it was taking Mom and Tommy over 4 hours to get to the store and back. Roger came home not long after, screaming and yelling as he ran around the house packing things. I thought maybe he was leaving forever, and that made me happy, and I knew mom would be a bit happy too. I sat there eating my sammich, watching him pack and when he was done and started taking things outside, I finally got brave enough to ask what he was doing. I remember him turning to look at me, his eyes red cuz was crying. He said to me 'Your bitch of a mother got her and my boy in a car crash, both of them died.' And then he went out the door. I got up from the kitchen table, and sat on the stairs cause its by the door. I didn't believe Roger, he had always been super mean to me since he married my Mom. He was lying cause he was a mean guy. So I sat on the stairs and waited for my Mom and Tommy to come home, I waited all night all the way to lunch time the next day. The door opening woke me up, and I got up, thinking it was my Mom, or Tommy, but it was a Social Service lady, coming to take me. I packed everything I could get away with, taking Tommy's army helmet and baseball bat, and pictures of me Mom and Tommy, and my violin, it was very important to Mom that I practice violin. The social services lady took me to a group home, with a bunch of other kids there. The people seemed really nice at first, super nice even, but once the Social Service lady left, they were mean, they wouldn't let me play my violin at all, they swore and yelled and hit us kids, they were just so mean. I stayed there a week, all the way up til my Birthday, and that's when I decided that I was gonna go find my real Dad, so when I knew the foster parents were too drunk to move, I grabbed my things, what money I had and set out to find my real Dad. All I knew was that he was in Hathian, and that my Mom was always Mad whenever I mentioned him. I got to Hathian, but that's as far as a got. I met a few nice people that offered me help whenever I need it, and I met a kid named Sam, at first she pretended to be a boy, but she's really a girl. We shared a place to sleep, and I'd play my violin for money to get food, I lived on the streets with Sam for a month or so, but then I found my Dad, my real Dad. His name is James Matfield. *She pauses as the laughing from downstairs stops, and then cringes when she hears the Nanny calling up to her, telling her to get her butt down to the dinner table right now, or she wasn't going to have any Dinner. Sidda sighs as she closes her TARDIS journal, picks up FatBoy the cat and heads out of her room. |
