Hello all, new here so I guess this is where I make my grand entrance...Well here it goes....

After roaming the streets for hours, she finds a quiet bus stop close to the hospital. "Yeah, this should be safe for now", she thinks to herself. After checking her surroundings one last time she slides off her backpack and sits down, reaching into her bag she pulls out a small notepad and a pen, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly she begins to write the dreaded letter to her dad revealing the truth about Hathian.

Dad,
I know its been a while and I just got the news about your incarceration, I'm sorry things didn't go well with the trial and I wasn't there for support, but that's not why I'm writing you this letter. As you know I'm in Hathian but things aren't as good as I have said before, Things with Jay didn't work out I was abused daily and finally he kicked me out with nothing but my bag and a change of clothes, Ive been walking around moving from place to place the past few days but I finally found a shelter where I can get food and have a place to rest. Also Ive gotten a job at the local record store, not fancy but it will do for now, Don't worry I'm trying my best to keep a low profile and stay out of trouble, and yes I know don't trust anything or anyone. There's so much more I need to say but I have to go now its getting late, I don't have enough paper and I don't want to be out here at night alone..Will send another letter as soon as I can.

She labels and seals an envelope and places a stamp, "Note to self...Get more stamps and paper", she thinks to her self. She gathers her stuff and with a sigh she stands up and puts her backpack back on and starts her search for a mailbox hoping to make it back to the shelter before its too late...
