A cup of herbal tea is placed gently onto the arm of the chair, she offers the barista a quick smile in thanks. The quiet buzz of the coffee shop was comforting to her as she pulls a worn journal from her bag, flipping to the next blank page she begins to write. </i>

<i>Words begin to scrawl across the page, a summary of events, thoughts and feelings leading the girl to this place. Not just the coffee house but the city itself, her return in essence. </i><i>A year before word reached the girl that her past transgressions were at risk of being aired and fearing the outcome, she took her leave of the city. </i>

<i>No, this city held harsh and painful memories for her so it was strange that she should return. However, something in her gut kept bringing her back, kept calling her to come home, a call she could not resist any longer.</i>

<i>As she sipped on her tea, the pale liquid silently passing her lips and giving her a feeling of comfort, she pondered as she spilled her thoughts on the page. Will she succumb to the same fate she experienced before or will she be smarter this time, will she fight harder to survive in this dead end city. </i>

Kasima Hale is a 25 year old, softly spoken Scottish girl trying to find her way in Hathian. She's been here before, about a year ago, where she had a rough time of things. Now though she's trying to focus on getting re-settled in town, putting time into her job at Vudu Spice and enjoying the new sense of freedom she feels. You'll usually find her listening to music, writing in her notebook or reading a distressed looking journal.

Kasima is generally laid back for the most part, usually the silent type, preferring to watch what's going on around her. Although she is nice and approachable she can be guarded at times, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She is the type to go out of her way to help someone, even if it puts herself at risk.
