Irina was raised by only her mother, never having met her father or knowing much about him. Her older brother Vlad was the most father-like figure she had ever known, but he moved away when she was 10. Irina and her mother fought like crazy, so she spent a lot of time alone, hiding out and focusing on music and art. When she turned 16 she left after a huge fight and moved in with a group of friends a few hours away. Living out on her own toughened her up and she began to make a living of scamming and conning people. After six years of no contact with anyone in her family, she finally located her brother. Irina pulled one last big con to set herself up for a while. The minute it was finished, she packed her bags and took off to find him. Stepping off the bus in Hathian, she set off in search of Vlad, all the while plotting her next steps and ready to have some fun.

Since arriving she has been searching relentlessly for him, asking nearly everyone who she has come in contact with if they know him.
