Arya came from a rather pleasant upbringing, her parents although they were strick still cared for her deeply and often put her needs before their own even as she decesended into adulthood. They primarily lived in the US but often travelled from state to state due to her fathers work. Her father found himself stressed rather often and began to rapidly decline when Arya had hit around twenty four years, it was then he had caught pneumonia rather severly and the affects caused him to be hospital bound within the next two years. As Arya and her mother cared for her father they worried severly for the day he may pass and began to become restless and aimless. Arya herself hadn't any goals and her mother no longer could carry the weight of the family so she turned within herself and became severly introverted.

Once her father had passed Arya saw no reason to stay within her mothers home and left rather quickly, travelling from place to place and couch surfing for the majority of it. She hadn't skills that stood out too heavily but picked up the trade of piercing and stick-n-poke style tattoos via her friends she met along the way, they were often canvases and it helped her improve the skill more and more. Eventually she even opted to get her education which allowed her to pierce others legally in a shop, it was then she decided to finally settle down some and attempt to find a good place of work and an apartment to call her own.

She had heard good news of Hathian as well as some.. not so savory news. But it didn't convince her not to go, she simply decided that there had to be some good to the city, from there she moved from Detroit down to Hathian and the rest is history.
