LEI KIM, 25 years old

Lei Kim is the only child of business magnate, Kim Joo Won and renowned cosmetic surgeon, Lee Qiao Fei. She was born in Cheongdam in the district of Gangnam in Seoul, South Korea. She had a happy childhood and basically had everything handed to her in a silver platter. She did a lot of traveling with her parents and on the eve of her 16th birthday, as the family of 3 were en route to Jeju Island, tragedy struck in the form of a car accident. Lei managed to recover from her injuries but her parents were both pronounced dead-on-arrival. Having only turned 16, the family business was taken over by her uncle who she never got along with. The series of unfortunate events left her with an emotional scar that she tries to cover up by acting tougher than she really is.

As soon as she turned 18, she packed up her belongings, bought a one-way ticket to New Jersey. She worked hard to provide for herself and vowed to be a capable surgeon who saves lives. Lei wanted to travel and found herself in the streets of Hathian where she is currently doing her 2nd year of residency at Hathian General Hospital. She is also taking a few courses at Columtreal University to further her knowledge and skills.
